While I do THINK there was potential for a story like this, but for Yamada it seemed too boring and almost atypical for her. This is her first shift from rom-com mangas to BL and I'd like to think she was experimenting. I think her finished project will be her current ongoing work that will work off the same dynamic these two boys had, so I don't feel disappointed.
