This was a tough read. Like some mangas that I read so far, this was a rollercoaster of feelings. In the first chapters, I was really stressed out because of the whole love dynamic. I was screaming and crying, telling how Maki doesn't deserve all of this, but as the chapters go more further, I slowly came into realize that "oh, healing in the right time".
This was not a simple manga, not a manga about music or the typical shoujo, it's a manga that explores deep concept of love and self issues. The whole Yuusuke and Hikari panels made me feel complex, like I was having doubts if I should continue it, but now, I'm glad that I stayed, cause if I didn't, then i would probably miss out the whole epic part where Yuusuke slowly heals and finds himself a genuine feeling of love to Maki.
Haruki's love was like a chain like relationship. At first I misunderstood their relationship, but upon deeper character study throughout the chapters, I do understand her, but still..i can't really forgive what she did to Yuusuke and the things she said at Maki. Her love was like a paper on a glass vase, only filling what you can see, but when you look inside, it's empty.
This is where light by wave to earth enters. When I see Maki, I cry. She's the most sweetest and kindest female lead I had read around this time. Her warm and sunny attitude is like flowers that fills up the whole vase, not only it's beautiful, but it's colorful. That's what her love is. I personally think that songs from wave to earth can literally describe her. Overall, I'm waiting for more chapters:) this was a great read.
