Oyasumi Shinkai
Art style is so pretty and the story is interesting, but the lack of chapters is pretty sad:(
Studio Cabana
This was a tough read. Like some mangas that I read so far, this was a rollercoaster of feelings. In the first chapters, I was really stressed out because of the whole love dynamic. I was screaming and crying, telling how Maki doesn't deserve all of this, but as the chapters go more further, I slowly came into realize that "oh, healing in the right time". This was not a simple manga, not a manga about music or the typical shoujo, it's a manga that explores deep concept of love and self issues. The whole Yuusuke and Hikari panels made me feel complex, like I was having doubts if I should continue it, but now, I'm glad that I stayed, cause if I didn't, then i would probably miss out the whole epic part where Yuusuke slowly heals and finds himself a genuine feeling of love to Maki. Haruki's love was like a chain like relationship. At first I misunderstood their relationship, but upon deeper character study throughout the chapters, I do understand her, but still..i can't really forgive what she did to Yuusuke and the things she said at Maki. Her love was like a paper on a glass vase, only filling what you can see, but when you look inside, it's empty. This is where light by wave to earth enters. When I see Maki, I cry. She's the most sweetest and kindest female lead I had read around this time. Her warm and sunny attitude is like flowers that fills up the whole vase, not only it's beautiful, but it's colorful. That's what her love is. I personally think that songs from wave to earth can literally describe her. Overall, I'm waiting for more chapters:) this was a great read.
Megane, Tokidoki, Yankee-kun
A wholesome read after a tough manga, this cute story is for the heart!! I really love how observant Ichikura is towards Momose, and how warmly Momose radiates to Ichikura. The recent chapters were a bit stressful because of the whole red guy scene, but in the end, I'm happy how it turned out and how they finally communicated after that. Their relationship is so cutee, this is a must for every shoujo lovers out there!!
My First Blue
Oh my goodness this was wow.. Overly cute and realistic relationship, I cannot ask for more. Murata and Miho are so cute, I was so glad that they were hinted married at the end of the first chapter. This manga makes me see love so more deeply. If I were to experience love, I hope I could experience it like them. The little progression each chapter into their relationship sparks me joy and cuteness. I also love the sentences here, like it's so attracting, like a word that pulls you in, like a poem. I really wish my forgetful brain won't forget this story and how it made me feel. I'll really miss the chapters and them. I hope this uploads soonnn:))
Shunkan Gradation
Ahhh what a cute story!!! This manga reminds me of the lyric "And in world full of boys he's a gentleman" because Okachimachi was really a gentleman!! In the first chapters, he was making sure that Naruse got to her transport safely, and that was a small yet kind gesture!! I was already muttering how precious this manga was. I also love how he always look out for Naruse, always finding her, always having her back... Ohh I wanna sob... This man is definitely now in my top male leads I also love Naruse's character here. As someone who also loses interest quickly, I get her alot. She has this persistent side (which isn't really bad) she's a good friend who's always there for someone. Also, I love her visuals so much!!!!!! Like yes, I agree so much with Okachimachi!! His girlfriend is the prettiest, literally had my jaws drop when I saw that portrait, she looks gorgeous!
A about being interested in a Mekakure Guy
OHHH ONGOING STORIES ARE SO PAINFUL. I HAVE TO BE FORCED TO PUT THEM ON 'ALREADY READ' The two of them were so cutee ahhh I love more of this story but I guess good things don't rlly last much... this makes my wish to advance through time fuel more
Barairo no Hoo no Koro
Mann I didn't know there was a prequel of J No Subete especially featuring Andrew's perspective. Just like the main story, of course this has also caused me pain. The pain of grief, what if's and lost love. I don't think I could ever love a Nakamura Asumiko work, yet at the same time, when I know it's her, I can't help but to get interested. Her works were deep and settled for maturity, thus being quite complicated to understand. But if one message is clear, then it's the message of doomed lovers. Tales really had to undergo something before ending it with a happy ending.
Hibi Chouchou
This took me a while to pick it up again, but here I am:) I discovered this through Pinterest, which immediately interested me because of Suiren's visuals. During my first read, it didn't really spark to me, but as I reread this again, I realized that I almost fumbled a good manga. A quiet pair isn't seen much, in fact, this is my first time reading two awkward individuals falling inlove with each other. It's cute how Kawasumi and Suiren's relationship progressed, despite their tense relationship with the opposite gender. At first, it reminded me of a cutesy crush relationship where Suiren's constantly gets teased by her friends, helping her get close to Kawasumi, and Kawasumi who's secretly flustered towards Suiren. But then as I go deeper into chapters, i realized that what makes this story intriguing and unique, is that it describes real high school love. Not the shoujo cliches, or part those loud charcters.. Just two introverts in a high school love that I wanted to experience too. Suiren's glances towards the hallways, school grounds, etc..just to spot him has me on chokehold. That is the realistic pining and yearning someone could ever have for someone. It's so adorable and precious She really likes him from afar, ohhhhh I don't normally like Girls falling first but damn, this changed me. ------ Seeing their relationship progress to strangers to friends to lovers is definitely awesome. Their relationship definitely wasn't easy, as shown that they face some difficulties, they're only young and new to love, but the determination from the both of them to stay together forever is what carries on through their tough times, I really like that. Overall a nice manga, definitely recommend this (Im curious to see a timeline where Atohira and Suiren ended up together)
