Litchi Hikari Club
Honestly, i didn't feel weirded out by the gore scenes and multiple deaths... it was pretty short and i think it was an interesting story considering it was my first horror manga. Aside from the lack of romance (even if let's be honest here, it wouldn't be appropriate), the fact that there was a direct inspiration token from Hitler with the usage of german as code names or just spoken by the members of the Litchi club, was quite surprising. Their leader is pretty fucked up in the head though. The ending reminded me of a movie i watched wherein everyone dies except from the heroine.
Averted Gaze R
11/01/2025 : Actually wild. But in a good way ? I don't know, it was very twisted and made me very shocked at some scenes but somehow, i ended up investing myself a lot in the plot, wanting to know more about why Dawoon was the way he is. His origin story that drove him to this crazy schizophrenic mind of his to say the least. I still am not sure whether Soojin actually had called him a ugly mf or not on that day, though it felt like it was actually true ? I guess we'll never know. I thought Beom was gonna be a two faced dude, which was kinda the vibe the author was going for at some point, but i guess they changed it in the end. I'm just glad she got her happy ending, Dae had such a fucked up background, growing up in such a toxic environement that her mom made me pissed the most with her never-ending blaming on Dae, and favoring her son so much like what the hell is up with her?? I do feel a bit sad about Dawoon, i feel that if he had dared to tell Dae about it, things wouldn't have turned out this way. But i guess him living in a dorm, being isolated from his family didn't help. Man, this just made me feel both sick, uncomfortable and sad. Honestly definitely i recommend it
