Across the Milky Way!
I usually love these kinds of plots with misunderstands and mistaken identity, but I just can't take it seriously. The plot seems like it's written by a 12 year old who doesn't know what they're doing. The characters, their thoughts and their actions, don't make sense. It's also filled with stupid and cringy tropes and clichés, neither of which are well written. It just makes me cringe. So, yeah. I'm dropping this.
Junjou Escape
Uke came out to his best friend in Middle school but ended up getting severely hurt, when his friend called him "disgusting" and outed him to the whole school, resulting in him being bullied and isolated. In high school he's completely withdrawn into his shell and stays away from other people, in fear of getting hurt. A playboy from his class then learns about his being gay, and threatenes the uke into becoming his "sex friend" in return for his silence. Thus begins a cycle of rape and blackmail, that then, some fucking how, turns into love. You can't even call it a psychological story, because it has a "happy" ending with rapist and victim being in a "loving" relationship. Romantisized rape is just uncomfortable...
Sono Egao Sukijanai
Because of a misunderstanding that happened between her and a friend, over a boy, in middle school, Sumire is the victim of vicious rumours and is shunned by her peers. She then begins to get involved with Ritsuki - or rather, he involves herself with her. It initially began a malicious bet with a friend, to get closer to the girl, known as a slut. But he quickly discovers that she is nothing like the rumours and falls for her. They start off as friends and through this friendship, Sumire is finally able to confront her past, change and make new friends, so she can begin to actually enjoy her high school life. Pretty cute story and the romance isn't too drawn out. They've already kissed a few times and 14 chapters in they've confessed and are going out. I kinda wonder, though, what the author is going to make happen next. In many stories I've read, where the couple gets together quick, it gets stale after that and then adds random characters and drama to keep the tension. I hope that won't happen here, but I have a feeling this new Kanzaki character is exactly that... Plz just give us some cute and fluffy (and maybe some smexy smexy) and not a ton of random drama and new misunderstandings!
