Koi No Tsuzuki Ni Hitsuyou Nano Wa
Akai Ringo no Nakami Jijou
Yuya just transferred from a high school in Tokyo to one deep in the country side due to his father's sudden job transfer. At his new school he keeps to himself and rejects socialising with others. Only Keiji ignores Yuya's dismissive attitude, determined to befriend the shy boy. As they become friends, feelings of love start to grow. However, Yuya knows he's only staying in the rural town for a year before he goes back to Tokyo, which brings about insecurities in regards to the newfound romantic relationship. It was a cute story. However the drama was kind of unoriginal and quite easily resolved.
Mikansei Demo Koi ga Ii
I'm usually not a big fan of shoujo, but this one was just too cute. I love how the characters communicate with each other before misunderstandings get out of hand. There is no unnecessary drama and clichés are kept to a minimum. Also the two main characters are the cutest and their chemistry is amazing.
Monogatari no Ketsumatsu wa
Honestly it was pretty meh. The storyline wasn't very original and nothing really made up for that. Pretty bland and cliché, and the way women were portrayed really bothered me. The only female character was a jealous bitch, who only served as an antagonist to the main character, an obstacle for the couple and a plot device. I mean, sure. The main couple was cute. Just not very interesting...
Zenbu oshiete, sensei
Gosh, I couldn't finish reading this... The translation was wonky, the plot was hollow, the dynamic between them was waaaaay too unbalanced. Some may argue that this is grooming, while others will argue that it isn't. I say it is, because it's not always about physical or legal age. Some are very mature, confident and self-assured at age 16 while others are still not adults at age 25. FL's a really insecure girl with a controlling mother, and ML knows that full well. I find him manipulating. So, big no for me.
