Crossing the line
God, I'm losing braincells reading this. It's so cliché, predictable and uninteresting.
Kare No Barairo No Jinsei
Natsuki is gay and he's going out with a collage classmate. However suffers from low self-esteem due to past ostracation because of his sexuality and "girly" looks, which makes him very insecure about the relationship. His lover is a good guy though, who does his best to quell the insecurities when they arise. I love this author. Their style is so down to earth and simple, yet complex. A lot is read between the lines, which gives it a layer of depth I really appreciate.
Across the Milky Way!
I usually love these kinds of plots with misunderstands and mistaken identity, but I just can't take it seriously. The plot seems like it's written by a 12 year old who doesn't know what they're doing. The characters, their thoughts and their actions, don't make sense. It's also filled with stupid and cringy tropes and clichés, neither of which are well written. It just makes me cringe. So, yeah. I'm dropping this.
