Kiraboshi Dial
Uke arrives at a small village to that village's doctor. He went there to escape a tragic past of neglecting his friend, who then killed himself. He meets the seme, who is an awkward and rude fellow. He doesn't know how to communicate with people and has claustrophobia because of his own tragic past where he was trapped in a car after an accident that killed his parents. Also thereafter his uncle and aunt took advantage of him, to get their hands on the money his parents left behind. Thus he was alone since his teenage years with no one to teach him manner and love. The first meeting of these two goes rather poorly but as they spend time together they learn to understand one another, while falling in love. It was an alright story. I feel like their respective pasts could've been explored more than it was. As it is, it felt a bit shallow compared to how traumatic both of their experiences were... But still a decent story.
Hinadori wa Shiokaze ni Madoromu
A very good and furfilling story. The seme was bratty at times, but yuuichi's nursing nature was the perfect match. And Ayumu was so cute. The drama and tension had the perfect level and their conclusion was satisfying.
Motekei Ouji no Renai Command
Moegi has been tasked with taking his sister's dog to dog training despite having a fear of/hating dogs. Here he meets the socially awkward dog trainer, Kanata. Slowly the two catch feelings as they spend time together, training the dog. It was a really cute story. The uke had insecurities, but the seme inspired him to try improving himself. The seme was really sweet, charismatic and good to his uke (even if he enjoyed teasing him a bit). The dynamic between them was really cute.
Kare No Barairo No Jinsei
Natsuki is gay and he's going out with a collage classmate. However suffers from low self-esteem due to past ostracation because of his sexuality and "girly" looks, which makes him very insecure about the relationship. His lover is a good guy though, who does his best to quell the insecurities when they arise. I love this author. Their style is so down to earth and simple, yet complex. A lot is read between the lines, which gives it a layer of depth I really appreciate.
Mobuko's Love
Nobuko is a very shy and introverted person. She struggles with low self-esteem and insecurities and generally has a hard time interacting with others. However when she falls in love with Irie from her part time job, she realises that she has to try a bit harder if she wants good things to happen to her. A very cute story. Nobuko and Irie are sweethearts and they suit each other so well. It's a bit slow paced for me though. But that's probably a matter of preference.
Akai Ringo no Nakami Jijou
Yuya just transferred from a high school in Tokyo to one deep in the country side due to his father's sudden job transfer. At his new school he keeps to himself and rejects socialising with others. Only Keiji ignores Yuya's dismissive attitude, determined to befriend the shy boy. As they become friends, feelings of love start to grow. However, Yuya knows he's only staying in the rural town for a year before he goes back to Tokyo, which brings about insecurities in regards to the newfound romantic relationship. It was a cute story. However the drama was kind of unoriginal and quite easily resolved.
