20 years ago, Valletta Delite was reincarnated into the world of a novel she read in a past life. Her role in the story was a supporting villainess to the novel's main villain; Archmage and Master of the Black Tower - and a crazy bastard - Reinhardt. She tried hard to avoid the tragic massacre of her family at the hands of the villain, by pleading with her father to banish Leonhard from their mansion while the latter was still just a slave and hadn't yet awakened his abilities. But her father ignores her and the tragedy still came to pass. Now the tables have turned and Valletta is at the mercy of the coldblooded villain who has an odd fixation on her and a thirst for blood and retribution. So, it appears to be a dark romance. The ML kills an entire mansion of people in the opening scene, so ig that surprises no one. Yandere ML and an FL who has become completely apathetic after constant abuse. Yanderes usually aren't my cup of tea, but I'll give it a chance and see. The spoilers make it seem like an interesting story nonetheless. 3/5 stars. Ch. 103

I just can't... The art is really pretty, but the story itself is just too cringey and infuriating. I absolutely abhore the ML. He's an absolute asshole who treats the FL like shit - before and after reincarnation. They are trying to frame it as him being awkward with love or some shit, but I call BS. He knows he doesn't have to put in any effort into the relationship, and thus he doesn't. Not until the FL starts treating him coldly back. And then he only does the bare fucking minimum - while being an ass about it. So I absolutely hate that the FL just endures the treatment, never actually gets mad and even blushes at the most negligible things. I have had enough with cold ML's who can't express their feelings and FL's who takes it, as if that's the best they could get. 1/5 stars.
