It has promise.
I don't really like the trope about a sweet, clueless, naive, hardworking, simple girl winning the heart of the cold, perfect guy. But this story has more depth than that.
Not only does the author take the time to build the characters and show their merits and flaws, they also show the slow progression of Rose/Lillian and Apple's relationship, which I really like.
