Seme is a divine guardian of the mountain forest. A tanuki beastman, seme is tasked with raising a newly born divine guardian, a fox beastman, our uke. Uke was a young white fox, who was left behind by his mother and died of starvation. As uke was a child when he died and as he's new to being a divine being, he's super naive and cute. While teaching uke about his new role, seme begins to feel emotions he'd lost of the thousands of years he's spent alone. Uke easily falls in love with seme, and one day he gets hard while laying on a sleeping seme. He freaks out, not knowing what's happening to himself, and wakes seme. Seme explains what's going on and helps relieve uke. Soon enough uke finds out that he's meant to be the replacement guardian and that once uke takes in all of seme's divine energy, seme will die. Uke doesn't want that and runs away, but after thinking it over, he comes back and tells the seme that he'll do whatever he needs to do for the seme to be happy. They have sex and seme transfers his energy to uke. Uke wakes up the next day and seme is gone, but he shows up ain later telling the uke that he saved himself just enough energy to live, because he fell wants to be with uke. Happy ending! This was a cute one. Really could have been longer but was still a good read!

Uke(omega) is an Olympic Gold medalist figure skater who has a rare disposition in that his pheromones are scentless. He's saved by seme(alpha) after he falls into a river(pond?) while trying to rescue a puppy that is stuck on some rocks. It turns out that is wasn't a puppy afterall, but uke gets seme's contact info in order to repay seme for saving him anyway. Somethings happen and they end up as friends with benefits after the uke proposed the arrangement. Story is their journey from FWB to lovers to mates. Uke is an orphan who has always thought that to keep the people he cares for, he has to put them above himself and be needed by them. Seme is an alpha who was traumatized as a child by an omega and gets sick if he smells omega pheromones. Happy ending. 10/10. There are a few places that I'd like a bit more exposition on, and some questions I'd liked answered, but overall an excellent read. Found it and finished it in less than a day!
