Noriko is a highschool girl who is a bit air headed with an active imagination. One day, on the way home from school with her friends, she chases after a ball for some little kid and winds up near a suspicious paper bag. It explodes and she's suddenly transported to s forest with golden moss and a sea of trees. After trying to figure out what's happened to herself, she's attacked by a huge flower like insect, but saved by a tall, handsome stranger dressed in unusual clothing. Isark, the traveling warrior, came to this place to find, and potentially kill, the prophesied Awakening who will transform him from the man he is into the Sky Demon. He never expected it to be a normal little girl. He decides to help her instead and they begin a journey that will take them across continents and around the world, all in order to stop his Awakening and save the world of light from the forces that wish to use the two of them for evil.
This one is a classic and I love it!!!!! Re-read several times already! Will definitely re-read it again at some point! 10/10 Highly recommend!
