There’s a certain sick pleasure I honestly experience when I see these disgusting, backstabbing, deplorable individuals be punished for their sins. However, since this story has no basis on reality in terms of the existence of magic, my humanity remains intact unlike Raoul. It’s heartbreaking the tragedy and betrayal he’s suffered from and find myself cheering for him when he administers punishment. I know this isn’t real, but a part of me is truly saddened how he plunges himself into the depths of depravity. I wonder if Raoul will realize how his twists and turns are slowly transforming him into what he despises most…? As someone who hates tragedy stories (because I’m weak AF), I’m legitimately worried how this manga will end. ️WARNING️️SPOILER ALERT️ Questions I have for this series: I wonder if Raoul will betray Ada in the end? Will Ada follow a path with no return? Humanity has it’s own ups and downs, the power of individuality is frightening. Yet, that duality can also be comforting. I wonder if Raoul will see anything in the humanity he’s obviously abandoned? Does Raoul plan to punish for all eternity? Humanity has no bounds in it’s pathfinding way to be dishonest and cruel. He will never be free from revenge or his hatred…

This manga is so adorable. Lily is so sweet, I wonder what she’ll look like when she’s older? Or more importantly, what happens at the end of this series. I understand why some people might see this as lolicon or be uncomfortable about the age gap. However, since I’m studying child behavior, it’s not unusual for kids to want to marry or fall in love with their parent. This is a phase that’s outgrown, but Lily is different from this. She shows understanding that she is too young and not mature enough. Lily also seems to know that Evan’s love is more akin to familial love. Plus, I haven’t seen Evan ever take advantage of these feelings (although, he does like to tease her, but he also teases everybody). Of course, I must admit that his teasing can be oddly, um, erotic(?). Which is definitely WEIRD to do to a child. Which reminds me… How old is Lily? She’s a demon, so I don’t think they’d age or grow like humans…
