I give this story 8 out of 10! Give it a read if you love fast-paced Harlequin stories. *SPOILER* only read if you wish to and would like to know my overall thoughts and opinions~ It’s understandable that Nico would be so shocked about Carrie’s pregnancy since he was told as a child that he couldn’t have children of his own. However, he could have completely avoided the immense heartache he and Carrie both endured had Nico been honest from the beginning. Not to mention, Nico’s method of finding the truth (or lack of) was unbelievably cruel to Carrie. Of course, talking about our health or what we deem as personal flaws can be insanely hard to talk about with someone else. It’s reasonable to be hesitant, but a necessary challenge. Carrie had no idea about Nico’s health, she hasn’t purposefully opened up Nico’s old wound. If she had known, she would’ve certainly hesitated to tell him to begin with. Yet, she was courageous and selfless in order to notify Nico and give the child a chance to have his biological father. Passion is certainly important in romance, but you absolutely need communication and various other components to maintain a healthy relationship. Okay, blah blah blah blah!

Leticia Violet, FL, has lived all her life being kicked around and mentally abused. Her step family and own husband are disgustingly terrible and take advantage of Leticia’s naivety and kind heart. Her husband openly engages in an affair and at some point, the hussy plots with the step family to murder Leticia. Leticia barely survives and it’s at that moment she decides she will prepare for revenge. With the support of his Majesty and bestowing of a new identity, Leticia Violet now Anarose Victoire, she will exact her revenge. Update: I want all the villainous characters sterilized with a rusty wood engraver, those greedy bastards love money so much, how about some molten gold down their throats :) I hope the villains have horrific ends
