Read if you dare~ Tis’ the ramblings of a weirdly avid story reader~
Despite how fast paced and not fully fleshed out the characters are, I thoroughly enjoyed reading this story. Ironically, while unsatisfying, I strangely like that the fast pace made everyone get to the point. Personally, the only minor ick for me is that the characters’ presence were so flimsy. There were many characters that I could tell were solely to progress the plot. I would have liked to see more character development. It’s the the honest truth that everyone struggles in life, no matter how trivial one might think. It doesn’t really matter whether you are a criminal or a saint now, everyone has endured some kind of challenge. Now, that is not to excuse any heinous crimes or deplorable behavior. What I’m trying to say is that it’s impossible to always act valiantly or noble. It would have been nice to see some strife in making decisions. Perhaps, instead of Eli accepting Edna right off the bat, the suspicion could have persisted for longer. It’s all fantasy, but I doubt in reality, that love just made him ignore everything.
