Wonderful Days?

Complete | tenzen momoko | 2008 released

Excludes chp 4. #College romance #Friends to lovers #High school friends #Roommates #Dubcon #Emotionally stunted seme #Seme only gay for uke #Seme unable to expression feelings normally #Don't-use-my-words seme #Possessive seme #Pushy seme So I like that, both, Seme and Uke has been in love for years. The thing is, Uke can feel emotions normally, so he recognized that, yes, what he's feeling is love. The Seme, however, doesn't feel love the same way other people do. For him, the Uke is part of his territory. Any threat to his territory--that wasn't on his terms--is a threat to his safety. So when the Uke was about to move out, Seme reacted as if this was a personal attack and acted out of instinct/desperation, rather than logic. It was a great touch to see Seme asking Uke several times about how he felt so that he could compare it to his. He knows that he doesn't feel the same things as other people, so when he finds something familiar in Uke's confession that is exactly like his feelings, that's the only time he can label his feelings. When Seme said, "Let me fall in love with you", that was impactful and I loved it.

#Underage sex #Adult/Minor #Superior/Subordinate #Salaryman/Highschooler #Consensual in fiction rape in real life #As in yes Uke was the one to push for sex #But adult should've never had romance with teen in first place #Seme can say stuff like "I was forced to go through with it" #But that's BS cuz you can never put the blame on teen lol #At least he admits he's a bad guy for going through with this Anyways, despite ^all that^, this was surprisingly a super cute and sweet story. Seriously, there are several things that hit me in the kokoro but 1) the hiring sign Seme put on the window to encourage Uke to return 2) the way Seme cried in Uke's arm after admitting to the loss of his dream, and 3) The way Seme asked Uke to keep his eyes open during sex so that they can stay together for a little longer. I. Whew, I made unattractive noises at that line. And I love that we got a look into their relationship three years later. They're, of course, as in love with each other as ever. I love that we went from Uke accidentally breaking Seme's glasses and having to lead probably-legally-blind Seme by the hand --> to --> Uke telling others his heart only belongs to Seme and Seme telling others he's engaged to an angel. xD I'm a simple bitch and simp other content like this.

Excludes chp 5 #Underage sex #Adult/Minor #Incest #Cousin incest #Presumuably first cousins #Assault/Noncon touching #Bully Seme #Low-key possessive Seme #Kind of an asshole Seme #But he also manages to treat Uke better than family #Uke is kinda dumb #Seme was most likely a delinquent #Seme is a fast driver that's good at stunts #Probably from delinquent days Uke and Seme were cute. Despite being intelligent himself, Seme is really understanding with Uke and doesn't judge Uke for his slower intellect. He instead has fun with Uke doing various things, praises Uke for his personality, and celebrates his achievements in regards to Uke's own achievements--not by the achievements made by Seme or Uke's brothers. Even things that people would mock the Uke for--like keeping the river shrimp he captured as pets--the Seme falls for the Uke moreso because of that. The thing with this manga is that it seems to pack too many ideas all at once without bringing it to full potential. We get that the Seme was a delinquent + that Seme's friends "hates" him to a point of wanting to get Uke away from Seme, but all of that just fades in obscurity. It made the details feel unnecessary even though they obviously impacted the story by driving the characters' motives. So I feel a little cheated, even though I love the story overall.

#Age difference #Uke is 43 #Seme is 31 #Celebrities #Workplace romance #Assault/Noncon touching #Shipping culture #Great art It's kind of hard for me to put down all the tags for this manga because...there's a lot. xD And this manga takes it to crack-y extremes. I do wish this was taken more seriously because it is So. Goddamn. Rare. To have not just of-age Uke and Seme but nearly mid-age Uke and Seme. So, the content here is not really my cup of tea, but the art and subversion of typical uke and seme trope makes this story have a spot on my list. :D

Aishuu

Complete | minase masara | 2000 released

#Underage sex #Minor/Minor #Dubcon #Coercion #Blackmail #Cheating #Hints of Adult/Minor #Since Seme slept with any woman that approached him #Celebrity/Waiter #Highschool friends #Friends to complicated lovers #Uke can be painfully in-denial #Seme can be painfully self-unaware #Uke has habit of running away instead of facing problems #I'm the same way lol #Seme almost dies of broken heart syndrome #Dramatic ass seme #Asshole seme This probably would've been fixed a lot earlier if Uke had asked Seme, "So, it's okay for me to sleep with other people too?" Then when Seme realizes that 'no sir I'm not okay with that what the fuck', they would've confronted this issue then. But I can't really complain because they were teenagers then and they both have issues that would be impossible to work out on their own, which they seem to be. Uke is emotionally repressed while Seme is emotionally stunted, so of course they weren't in a position to help each other grow. Them being away from each other did way more favors than disservices to them. Also, author-san glossed over their issues in the manga, but there were hints as to what drove each of their actions. Uke doesn't even tell his parents where he's living and doesn't keep in contact with anyone. Seme, on the other hand, has never loved anyone, as evidenced by how he never cared about anyone leaving him until Uke came along then left. In spite of everything, they were the only healthy aspect of each other's lives...which is terrible, when you consider how unhealthy their relationship is. xD But what got me in the end was how they forced each other to change. Since Seme doesn't know how to identify emotion, his body was the one to tell him what the hell was wrong, which lead to Seme prioritizing Uke's needs, which is only fair because he needs Uke. On the other hand, Uke finally asserted himself and admitted what he kept hidden from Seme all this time. What was stagnant water between them suddenly started moving. It's not much, but it's enough for them to move forward together.

#Underage sex #Adult/Minor #Writer/Highschooler #Neighbors #Seme helps Uke take care of a cat #Smut is short but good #Uke is assaulted by some guy in chp 4 #Seme comes to Uke's rescue #Seme trying and failing to be a responsible adult This was a cute and simple story. I honestly don't have much to say about it. xD It was kind of slice of life in a way and I did enjoy reading it. There just wasn't much new content to make it stand out in the world of BL. The art is really good though!

Excludes chp 4-5. #Underage sex #Minor/Minor #Chilhood rivals #Rivals to Lovers #Highschool romance #Possessive seme #Dense uke #Dacryphilic seme #Uke cries easily #Seme loves uke's tears #Emotionally stunted seme #Cannot-use-my-words seme #Noncon touching from seme #Pushy seme #Bully seme Honestly, my favorite parts of this manga were the flashbacks to their childhood. The Seme and Uke as kids were so freaking cute and I laughed so hard at that scene where child!Seme would feed child!Uke veggies just to see him cry, and child!Uke just went along with it cuz he had a puppy crush on child!Seme (not that he realized it at the time).

#Underage sex #Adult/Minor #Teacher/Highschooler #Dubcon at best rape at worst #Blackmail #Coercion #Delinquents #School for delinquents #Uke is older teacher #Seme is younger highschooler #Uke can easily overpower Seme #Uke was definitely an ex-delinquent #Possessive uke and seme The plot is flimsy (yes, Uke, rape Seme and get a pic of him so that you can keep your job as a teacher lol) and I truly question whatever working braincells Uke has in his brain, but this manga made me laugh either way. I liked the ending part where Seme complains every time his friend adds "-chan" to his name, but when Uke does it, Seme gets turned on and, thus, turns on the charm. Which leads to Uke getting very flustered. xD

#Underage sex #Adult/Minor #Teacher/Highschooler #Adult teacher is uke #Minor highschooler is seme #Friendships here are hilarious #Dramatic over-the-top characterization in true manga fashion #Teacher hitting students used as comedy #Uke was raped by ex Honestly, this just made me laugh several times, it was fun to read. The rape here isn't taken seriously and the Ex appears here then shown in a sorta sympathetic light, but well. Just don't take it seriously. Enjoy the comedy lol.

Excludes chp 4.5. #Underage sex #Minor/Minor #Incest #Step-brother incest #Dubcon at best rape at worst #Emotional coercion/manipulation #Abuse #Seme assaults uke #Seme does stop when uke says "I hate you!" #But still he assaulted uke #Depictions of child abuse "I'm only doing this because you're my little brother!" *WHEEZE* I...Uke, what...that...listen to what you're saying. LISTEN TO WHAT YOU'RE SAYING. Also one thing I don't like is how the manga uses Seme's childhood to kind of...excuse his actions. There's a scene here where Seme brings up his parents and I'm like...low blow, dude. Super low blow to use that on someone who genuinely loves you and wants you to be happy. In reality, a relationship like this is abusive and traumatic, buuuuut... ...In the context of this manga, their relationship is sweet. Uke obviously don't love Seme as brother--he seems to refer to Seme as that more from habit and willful denial. But the fact exists that Uke loves Seme to a point where he'll bend his morals because he loves Seme more than he wants to live normally. He talked about him and Seme living the straight path, but if living the straight path brings Seme more misery, then Uke will walk the less easier path with him. Anyways, don't hump your siblings, kids! :D
