I think the webtoon series itself deserves to have print manhwa volumes and anime adaptations (just like the Noblesse Series). For those who's about to read this series here for the first time, just don't. Read it on TappyToon for FREE. You can also read Noblesse for FREE on Webtoon. Read there to get the best experience ever! Anyway, thanks to the awesome fan scans (they're awesome imo), this series got its official translations completed as well. Props to everyone who made it possible for global fans to enjoy this series. I've first seen the mangaka's work on Beautiful Legends and boy was I inspired by him (at that time, I didn't know it was his works). Anyway, now he has illustrated more series: (Tapas) The Archmage Returns After 4000 years The Worn and Torn Newbie (TappyToon) I’m the Max-Level Newbie Mookhyang: The Origin Okay, I think many would not compare this to Noblesse (I get it). This series is mainly about our MC and his journey - it never really shifted to other national hunters' fights, you know (I know it's sad that we don't get to see more fight scenes from them, like Naruto and Bleach would do, but this series is so ******* good, too). The art is stunning, the relationship between the MC and his shadows are also amazing (quite lonely and alien-ish, but that's how his character is and that's why we love this series). He was all alone from the beginning, and he fully embraced that. That's not to say he didn't have some good friends. Let's go back to the fight scenes for a bit. I think this is the kind of series that really uses all the webtoon experience we can get kind of series. It's like Bleach (but Bleach is better than Solo Leveling, can't deny it). You can't get the full experience from live adaptations - it's an authentic full manga-only heavy action experience. Naruto arts have very clear and precise fight scenes it's like very relatable - amazing work (both the manga and the anime). For this series, it's a bit hard to follow cause of the format, I guess. Like when you scroll down, sometimes the fight scenes shifted to different angles that you know you have to tilt your phone ahaha (BUT, that's okay, I loved it). I don't think I can give a full review without spoiling so I'll stop here. I hope they'll make an anime adaptation for this- like, just 1 OVA is enough (I mean, then, they can make a whole series out of it like they did with Noblesse muahahah). SPOILER: MC can travel between 2 worlds whenever & wherever he is! 兎先生 is cute Review 1: MC is OP the second he has access to the otherworld - it's like the system just enjoys giving him all the new attributes easily without him putting that much effort to begin with. I don't dislike the premise at all, since there's another bonus premise; whatever he's done in the otherworld, he can accumulate and sustain in both worlds, and that, my friend, is super awesome (so basically both premises are not new or "fresh", but it's still fun to watch and read)! Is this a harem? No this is not an explicit harem (like the ones in mature manga. this is just very light - it's still harem). Romance So far, IGaCSiAWaBUiTRWT is one-sided in terms of attracting other characters to the MC - ALL the people love the MC (some romantically, some just pure admiration and appreciation, and some just adore him as friends) except for the antagonists, of course. There are many potential love interests with varying ages. Mangaka also did the reverse gender roles parody (ies) (I think I've seen many similar plots of recent manga using taboo or touchy hot issues as a comic relief or parody, which not bad, and imo, it makes the story more interesting and a bit realistic - although, this story is basically fantasy lol) and I won't bother explain which scene (s), but I'll put it out here very generally. I'm also happy that the romance isn't too heavily focused on that it doesn't give enough build in the MC's own level up progress journey (that's why we're reading this, we wanna follow his progress closely lol). I think subtle romance is ok, I don't mind it. Is this a reincarnation story? So far, I haven't read/watched any of that part (if there's any) that mentioned the MC being reincarnated. IMO, this kind of otherworlds traveller / world hopping genre is fun because the MC wholly owns his moment and those pivotal decisions/moments instead of being dragged down by someone else's will. This is good. Is the sage a legend? What about usagi sensei? They're both OP. Saga sama was invited to join the realm of gods but declined (I wished mangaka would make some kind of gaiden about sage sama for us in the future). Even after death, his soul essence is still imbued somewhere that he can communicate and transfer his power to your boy. This shonen managed to upgrade himself from weak human to super human, then to magic boy, and then to usagi apprentice (this Teacher Rabbit is a guardian - some kind of legendary mythic being, protector of something - has mean kicks that can kill and destroy - destructive kicks muahahaha) Review (for the ending): tbc I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World, Too (2019 - ?)
