The art style here is exquisite. The characters have depths. The storyline is also good. I personally am glad that women don't have to live this way anymore (it's so backward). The MC for example, is well written and I have to say, when I started reading this, I wasn't very keen on reading about anything that's noir - ish (I read anyway) and felt the characters' emotions. It's quite dark and heavy (so many social issues).
