It's not fully censored which is scary considering how the sex scenes are graphic.... But HAWT.
The Bride of God
TW: sexual assault Review (may contain spoilers): I love how the story is so well thought out, depicted and also how it's unraveled is also so sublime - I love how you can right away get it without having any excess narrations. The imageries play a great impact and say it all once the humans shapeshift while the narrations are kept in a low level to make the readers figure it out. It started with a warm story between two brothers (incoming pseudo incest trope) and a time skip to show that years have gone by, and in that countryside, there lies a miko in a cave/shrine where they send the human sacrifice to be secluded to pray for humanity's well being, and that, these humans will only have a chance in life if they stay in their village. This story opens up with a nice daily life of shrine guards/ SOL/ iyashikei plot, and even introduces the ML's potential love interest, a caring girl who takes care of her elderly and makes lunch boxes for the shrine guards. Penguin Frontier is a solid storyteller, I enjoyed reading it! This time, the color palettes for this series are also fairly beautiful and I noticed that the same face syndrome that has plagued the creator has tremendously improved! To add, I think this serious and poignant undertone style of writing/foreshadowing is so priceless. I love this style, it's beautifully done.
