incubi's manga / #siblings(5)

seems like this manga can´t decide wheter it wants to be a period drama or a yaoi. in the end none of it plays out well. all the historical stuff isn´t explored enough, I´ve gotten lost in the story. meanwhile the yaoi part is just somehow thrown in and doese´t really make sense. there´s no character developement, their feelings fall flat ... maybe except for the last story. the art is beautiful though and the story isn´t bad per se, but I expected more from it

the main character who is supposed to be a bodyguard has to be saved over and over again like a damsell in distress and everyone falls in love with him (or wants to rape him) tired of this kinda plot dropped at Vol.7 Ch.21-24
