incubi's manga / #monk(7)

read the firt two chapters and I´m dropping it. the characters are stupid and annoying the situations are absurd and it seems I can not cope with this kind of japanese mentality (I mean why is everyone allways going on about her age and marrying like there is nothing more important in this world. and the other thing - why cant they just say things normally - simple things?! very irritating!) 14 vol. ongoing

seems like this manga can´t decide wheter it wants to be a period drama or a yaoi. in the end none of it plays out well. all the historical stuff isn´t explored enough, I´ve gotten lost in the story. meanwhile the yaoi part is just somehow thrown in and doese´t really make sense. there´s no character developement, their feelings fall flat ... maybe except for the last story. the art is beautiful though and the story isn´t bad per se, but I expected more from it

I liked the gas mask story (ch. 1 and ch.6) . the others were meh
