Taberarechaukei Danshi
I love and good rivals to lovers story and man does this deliver. It’s short and sweet, and is such a fun read. Both the characters interact with each other in very unique ways, and I love reading their relationship.
Powder Snow Melancholy
I love this story, a rivals to lovers trope that is decently developed. The uke reluctantly asks for snowboarding lessons from the seme to impress girls, but the seme is secretly in love with him and makes his move. It’s really cute but be warned that there is noncon kissing.
Love Awakening x Syndrome
They’re are so aggressively cute. Very wholesome, there’s no tw or anything. It’s just a simple story of a professor and a student falling in love. It’s so sweet and loving. Probably my favorite of this authors work and I hope there’s a volume 2 for it.
Mitsuru-kun no Mitsugenai Haru ga Kuru
Very cute. Not the most dramatic or deep story, but both characters are very likable and there’s no tw. If you’re looking for a sweet and easy read I would recommend
Sugar Dog Life
So goddamn cute. A very sweet and straightforward story about a police officer and a short college student falling in love. Both characters are pretty well rounded, and it’s a very fulfilling story. I really recommend it. There’s no tw or anything violent or aggressive either which is always a plus.
Shishunki Cherry Bullet
Very light and cute read. There’s no real drama or any of the regular gross tropes often found in Yaoi. All sex is consensual, and the uke is usually the one that initiates which is a breathe of fresh air. The seme is very good at communicating and is such a sweetheart, and the uke is just adorable. The story picks up after they’ve already been dating for a while, and Azusa wants to see Asahi lose control when they have sex and that’s mostly it. There’s no rival side plot and no sexual assault. It’s very cute and surprisingly wholesome. Not the most deep and developed plot, but it’s still a nice read
Tasogare Outfocus
Probably one of the most visually pleasing romance manga’s I’ve read. It’s stylish and specific but still so pretty to look at. Mao and Hisashi have such an interesting dynamic, and every time they interact it’s always so fun to read. Mao is strangely weird and he is so adorable and likable as a character. Hisashi has a fairly sad backstory, but it doesn’t dip super far into the angst, and it’s very focused on the two of them. It’s a great story, and I really recommend.
