It was ok. Uke dealing with all those real life problems of a broke-and-not-so-smart person felt too relatable as a loser. I need fantasy, not a sad dose of relatable reality. Also him confessing first, crying all the time around seme, felt a little too pathetic. Overall, even though there was no big drama, it didn’t give me butterin the stomach or felt wholesome. It felt like a sad reality check of my life. That’s on me ofc.

While the outline was amazing, the actual work felt floppy and messy. I hated the last 10 chapters. Final battle and its outcome was unsatisfying. The ending of the main villains was very unsatisfying (we barely to never even got to see their ending). The last fight was a mess of too much happening. Lots of lightning, fires, etc hiding most of the images, so it was hard actually seeing what was going through n and who was doing what. The involvement of some main side characters was barely mentioned, even though their involvement what supposedly a decisive factor in the outcome (the ref hair, uke’s mom, the second prince who was crowned, the dead parents of seme, etc. Even the important balance the magic master was so concerned abt was barely clear, even though it was supposed to be important). Too many criptic moments with smirks that felt stupid because readers never get a clear understanding of what it is abt. And don’t get me started on what happened to seme during the last big fight. So confusing. And tbh, regarding seme, he was mainly useless most of the manhwa. So unlike a seme that happens to also be an alpha. Uke alpha felt like a seme alpha instead. *sigh * This could have easily been a 5 stars, too bad, it was ruined. I truly don’t get the hype abt this author. Their work is usually imo a let down.

Non toxic relationship according to people. Ahjussi! Edit after completion: everything abt this was perfect. Wow! Stopped reading at chap 82. They’re back together after 3 yrs apart and happy. Will probably start reading from top again. So addicting

La suite de on or off. Waiting for season 3. stopped at 41. Little bro (friend) of seme is in love with him and not with uke like we thought. Has loved him for yrs. Seme and uke just learned that.

So so so LOVELY. 4.5 stars out of 5. I love that it was not a hint of darkness in any of the characters. No red flags. It was a good read. I removed the half star because of how each couple got together after the big usual misunderstanding/ disagreement couples have in storylines to push them together. I like it when someone messes up (not too bad so i don’t dislike the character); and the person who messes up is the one groveling. I hate when the one being hurt has to be the one making the steps towards the person who hurts him. Makes that person look pathetic and desperate in my opinion. So here for main couple: young seme messed up, but older uke was the one crying about missing him, getting drunk, acting pathetic and doing the work to get them together. Hate it. With side couple: older uke messed up, but young seme is the one crying and going to uke while drunk to almost beg for his love. Hate it. Removed half a star for that

I was smitten. 1st time i read an omegaverse manga that doesn’t give me the ick. Love love LOVE it all. Everything abt alpha seme truly gives off alpha male ML. I’m here for it. So sultry and seductive. Oh my… And the way he is fiercely protective of uke is so hot. He’s cold to all but his uke. I mean he is out here pulling out teeth, destroying his step family, beating up people to a pulp, etc. Ugh, so sexy. And the drawing of him is very well done. He looks handsome, and he’s so tall. I love the way he calmly seduced uke. Slowly approaching and inserting himself into his life. He didn’t do too much. Well done. Reminds me of Ah Jucy from dangerous convenience store when he came back into uke’s life and wanted to get him back.
