Without spoiling much, our protagonist loves making films, but this has had an effect on his psychology as his films are his own interpretation of his life. His disconnect and idealisation of reality become prevalent, and the reader is constantly oblivious to what is reality and what is part of the edited movie. A challenging and complex read, with the bonus of a very entertaining leading character duo.
