Very tryhard, very "take me seriously!" I suppose Iori going back to Manabu would work if we are supposed to interpret it as a bitter-sweet sort of thing; as Iori not really having learned anything. But we get this whole scene of him sticking it to the man just for him to run back to a guy who was doing the same shit to him on a cheap promise of 'doing better' or something. He's kind of just accidentally retarded.

Shit incest copout, get real or go home. I get turning themselves in was supposed to be them turning over a new leaf but why didn't they just snitch on Akira about the drugs. Are they stupid? His gang didn't even know what to do when he got shot cause they didnt want their hideout raided. Masami literally kept him alive as a witness and regardless of if Akira wanted his boy-crush locked up or not, Masami would've done time for illegal possession of a firearm anyway.
