tiny Joel is so precious omg. I kinda wish this was non-BL or maybe the BL would happen later on, and not with Raine as a love interest. like just a human-father/ vampire-son manga and them becoming a family, mutual healing kinda vibe. I like their characters but I wanted them to each have a different love interest, I prefer them with a father/son relationship.

This definitely feels like a one of a kind manga. The moment that really stood out to me the most was when Taiga acknowledges that as soon as someone stands out of the boundary of what is objectively perceived as 'normal' they are treated like an oddity, and at that moment he truly empathises with Arima saying 'It's no surprise that he (Arima) couldn't stand it.'

So basically Humans are the heartless ones. This was dark and interesting but feels unfinished overall.
