Where's Niki's side story?

Idk why people are complaining about the ending but I think the ending is kinda nice. They got together and are able to express their love for each other. Contrasting to the way they treated each other from the first time they met, I think there has been a major character development for the two. And there was no rape whatsoever, it was actually a consensual sex that proves that they love each other.
