Yuzu is a shy girl who only has one friend, an outgoing bug-loving girl named Maki. When Yuzu makes a new friend, Maki gets jealous and thinks Yuzu doesnt like her anymore.

Sakura seems cold and distant towards her childhood friend, Yae, but it's only because she feels so guilty for not keeping her promise when she moved away-- to laugh a lot and make friends. Yae understands though, and Sakura is able to smile again
