From what I can remember: The mc was almost raped by a guy in High School, after he told him he wasnt ready and wanted to stop. They meet again in their 20s, and the guy helps the MC keep a restaurant open and they fall in love (I don't know if they actually have sex outside of the bad scene, and I'm not keen on re-reading this one ahaa)

Kuroba becomes a bodyguard for a gay bar, where he finds that the main star, Kaede, does more than what the job should entail. But overcoming trials together (mexican mafia, the bar shutting down, and over 8000km of distance) brings them closer together, and Kaede realizes that love really does exist
