What do you do in this situation .... do you keep living on as copies or do you just end it there? Would it be disrespectful to the dead to create copies without their permission? How does that reconcile ideas of life and death, heaven and hell, the soul, reincarnation. I was getting major SOMA vibes but I'm sure SOMA is not the only work that has explored the idea of cloning as a method of continuing.
