5 stars // Ugh i feel like this deserves MORE than just five stars, ten out of five stars! Eigyou Nika is just the perfect comfort manga for me, the characters are both very loveable, you just feel for Ayumu crushing on an "assumed" straight man and his chances of this crush being a mutual are almost zero. But it's not as angsty, Toujou is perfect, he's fucking perfect, the model boyfriend for EVERYONE. The story is also done very well pacing wise, it doesn't feel too rushed or too dragged and the ending is perfect, we all saw the marriage thing coming and we were prepared for emotional moments of heartbreak but instead it was turned to a confession. I admit i re-read this too much as somewhat of a safe place after i read other cruel mangas, it's just, so good.

5 stars // I love this! I love Furuya Nagisa's slow-paced story telling, it's weirdly comforting and sweet. We are introduced to this person who hates his nickname, yet meets and falls in love with a person who has a similar nickname as him and always calls him by his nickname. Usually stories like this don't have a whole year timeline, but i kind of liked that, it showed that some people just need a lot of build-up, because we have to take into account that the people they are falling in love with is of the same gender, so there's so many things to think about, and i loved it. The realization of Eighto-kun that "ah, i like him more than a friend" and then Hachi's realization of "ah, maybe i love him after all" and the sweet confession on the rooftop, yes! And stories like this seems so so much cute and adorable if it's in a highschool setting because, you have all the time in the world, but also not really, they were racing against time since they're literally going to graduate (third-year problems ikr), and i was actually kind of panicking when Eighto-kun got held back jsjsj, ah i kinda miss my highschool life ♡(｡- ω -)

4 stars // I was so torn between four and five stars-- because i loved this, i loved it a lot. It's really good, how they're both in denial, even went so much as to try dating other people to confirm their feelings, how both of them are in this constant yearning for each other, i liked it. I have nothing bad to say about this manga but the reason for it being four stars is probably because of how it could be solved much sooner than you think? I thought that the part where they were at school at night where Kai found out that Ren knew about Kai's feelings for him, they were going to only progress forward from there, but i was wrong, but instead we got a really good perspective of Ren's feelings for Kai, and i loved it, it's just, it's weird i don't know maybe i wanted a little more out of them, because it's just buried feelings but then one day /boom/ suddenly realizing his feelings and go confess, idk idkd idjdkdks i loved it though i can't form a good review for why it's four stars, maybe it should be five but idk. I'm going to collect myself and write a more decent review hh.

5 stars // Again i am here announcing my ever-lasting love for Natsume Isaku-sama's works, but damn do they deserve it. This one in particular sits in one of my most favorites of her work and BL in general because again-- It's so good, it's so light and everything is just so nicely put together. We're introduced with a studyholic bothered by his neighbor who apparently is fucking noisy, drinks a lot, and causes inconveniences to him since they're only separated by a wall. One day, the dude's apartment fucking wrecked and thus making him not have a place to sleep, thus making the landlord lady force the studyholic to let this noisy dude stay for a couple nights with him. We start from there. I love how naturally it just progresses? It's not like an instant "the moment they stayed the night together, sex ensues" and then they try to build something out of that, no, nothing happened but them getting to know each other and try to build some sort of connection to one another. I especially loved and appreciated it even more since Iida actually knew Sakamoto from way way before and went through all the trouble of trying to find him, so in that first night together, his feelings were already there, but nothing happened. I seriously love when we're just sitting, reading through, anticipating, and then got rewarded with satisfying resolution. The build-up to the conflict was nice too; Not seeing each other for awhile made Sakamoto realize that he, too, has fallen. And seriously the words of this manga?? A person whose visions of the world are limited to only that that fit people's expectations of him, and a person with a big and broad view of the world, chasing after someone that he wants to show the world to, bitch a girl is crying in the corner. I think with Natsume Isaku's works, the sex feels like, it's weird to call it a reward but something like a result of them acknowledging their feelings for one another and are ready for that next step, so while i do sometimes enjoy cultured reads of lightsabers everywhere, i almost kind of prefer the soft ones where they just love each other so much. And also Iida is so fucking smitten, and honestly, holy shit? To be able to even form the kind of words of "I wont say 'we've got time', just that 'what time we have', 'we'll spend it together" BITCH I AM CRYING?!?! That's so sweet! It's so simple-minded but i was so swayed by it i had to take a breather. All in all, yes, go read this, an absolute five stars, ten stars, it's so cute, it's light, it'll make your heart full and would just make you want to cuddle your significant other for awhile because you're so overwhelmed by the cuteness, if you're single, hug your pillows soldier! °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°

5 stars // imma review it later though i wanna read the series first

3 stars // and so begins my journey of reviewing Kurahashi Tomo-sensei's works. A few years ago sensei sat at top ten of my favorite BL creators, now i don't even know if i truly, genuinely, like sensei's works. At first glance they look interesting, the concept and characters vary and seldom use mainstream tropes, the art is very pretty, it's almost like a Natsume Isaku-feel with the sensei's works, but it is just, not. Take this one for an example, to be honest the premise was interesting, an age gap isn't a stranger in BL stories and at the time i was actually actively looking for them because i had a crush for someone 10 years older so i wanted to just throw my feelings into those age gap mangas. I came across this manga while searching and thought, "oh ok, interesting, and it's Kurahashi Tomo" Straight to the review-- it was, for the most part, very underwhelming. It wasn't bad, but it's not sensei's best works either. The plot is literally a straight line, it's so, so easy, and instead of creating actual drama that could maybe spice up the shape of the plot, it just, halts itself in the middle because of the Uke's conflicted feelings of wanting to protect the Seme's "youth" and that he should find better people. WHat? I was literally sitting there, confused as fuck. Wasn't he the one that picked him up and feed him in his own home? You could argue that he was just trying to be a nice person but Uke admitted it himself that part of him brought the Seme home because of his face, meaning he had ulterior motives but probably regretted it once the deed was done. And also, the Seme's whole existence is weird, what do you mean he just got kicked out by his girlfriend and is now flat out homeless and then p a s s e d out in the middle of a busy road? And by God he just met the Uke for a day and now he's in love with him, how does his brain work? And isn't he supposed to be straight? Where's the denial and questioning his existence part?? What?? And also, i don't even know how sensei wanted the readers to like, feel the emotions of the second couple's story in the end when the two of them were responsible for traumatizing the Uke, IN HIS OWN HOME. Like are we just going to forget that they're the ones who forced the fling to happen resulting in Uke's feelings getting fucking hurt and broken because a married man just fucked him and then after that immediately regrets it and chose his wife, man the things that could do to someone's pride? And they didn't even do like a proper apology, it was done half-jokingly and i don't know how Uke is still accepting them in his house, i would've kicked them out because i don't want to see their faces anymore. It was all just a mess, it's not confusing plot-wise because it's so obvious what's going to happen, it just urks me the things that happened to get there, flipping through the pages were boring it almost looked like i was speedrunning it, didn't even bother to read the second couple's story whole-heartedly because by that point i was just done. Why three stars then you ask? idk, i guess for nostalgia reasons, there's nothing *wrong* about this manga it's just very boring, and pretty art is my wekaness so three stars, if i didn't like the art style it'll probably be two stars ╮(￣ω￣;)╭

4 stars // I'm back in a reviewing mood so here we go! Another of Kurahashi Tomo-senssei's works, and i would say this one is the best one out of all the other works sensei has done. It's not the best thing out there, if i could compare to one of my favorite BLs, this one is far far from perfect, honestly it's not even going to sit in my top 50 BL list but eh, i liked this one enough to have some nice things to say about it. The story follows the seme's perspective,

5 stars // After like, two years (?) of reading this manhua, it has finally ended, what a trip! Not gonna lie at the start i wasn't very fond of this. The characters felt very plain and the story was kind of confusing, but idk maybe it was the translation or it's literally just the early chapters and nothing was happening yet. I'm so glad i stayed though!! So fucking glad!! As the chapters progressed and Guze and Ruchuan grew closer, i became more interested and fell in love with their yearning for the other, it's just so fucking adorable that the two of them like and care deeply for each other but they just don't know how to let it out. // continue later.

5 stars // Not gonna lie one of the best BL manga reads i had after awhile! Damn! Where was i all this time? Story follows our beloved womanizer Mr. Tomura and dude from the design team Ryo who are on opposite ends of the spectrum but are both very passionate about their jobs, so who knows, maybe they could find common ground and grow close? NOT! We went straight to fucking! To be honest the moment Mr. Tomura invited Ryo to his home i know it's gonna happen right away and was just bracing myself for it lol, i'm glad it wasn't *that* bad and Mr. Tomura doesn't seem to be that troubled by it since he still had no problem talking to him the very next day. It's always like this with straight guy tropes, take it with a grain of salt and you'lk be able to enjoy it just fine. Well, i realized i was bi pretty early on before any girl could make a move on me but i definitely turned my girlfriend queer, i think she wouldn't be able to date any girl besides me so i get the "straight guy turns gay for one dude" trope, it's just a matter of "does that make him gay or bi or is he still straight but this dude is an exception?" discussion which to be honest i'd rather not think about because labels are sometimes confusing and could be a bit sensitive to other people. ANYWAYS. Plot wise, it's very good, the start was fast but i'm glad that they took time to talk out and decide their feelings are legit, and when they're finally a couple, awh the cuteness and extreme hornyness just explodes! The perks of dating your coworker are that you could see them everyday, and the downsides of it is apparently, also that you could see them everyday lmao, it'd be very hard to control yourself. Also, is Ms. Fujinime trans? If that's the case that's cool!! And i'm glad that the overseas dude is more on the "comedic relief" side rathee than actually creating drama for the couple, i was bracing myself for some serious arguments but thank god he's an idiot who hits on anybody and doesn't have a specific target in mind, god thank you. Also another thing, i'm so glad the author took the route of "everyone is just very shocked and curious so they keep asking" instead of the "distancing themselves cause they're homophobes" route, i very much prefer that route and it's so adorable seeing everyone so supportive of their relationship, maybe it's also because they work in the cosmetics world so everyone's a little bit more accepting? But that's still so heart warming, feels good to see acceptance man :)) even though it's fiction :)) enough with homophobia traumas i just want to live in my dreams of being accepted :)) To wrap this up, i love it! Every chapter was interesting and kept me always entertained! Ther was never a boring chapter or a moment i was disappointed by their choices, i love it! Definitely will go in my top 50 bl lists! Going to recommend this to my girlfriend now!
