We end up seeing that Seme was a regular snake that was given the order from the gods to punish the evil and help the virtuous don’t let the powers over take. He lived in the mountains so he was prayed on by humans. There was a plague and humans asked for help, but he couldn’t give any because he can’t cure. They all died. He was then given a human body so he can learn how to love. Seme had no desire to be around humans or do anything at all anymore. He didn’t know if he was worthy of being a heavenly being. One day when it was raining he tried to stop it but couldn’t so he went in search of the mountain god but ended up finding a human (one of Uke’s past self). He saves him and takes him to a cave. Uke thanked him and rambled on but Seme didn’t mind. Seme told him why he was there and came to realize what he was feeling was pain for the humans he couldn’t help. Seme ends up saving Uke’s life by taking him home and left him flowers. When he wakes up, Uke doesn’t give the flowers to his sister and sees the snake Seme. He calls him over not afraid and he turns back into a human. Uke cleans his wound and ask Seme to stay. He ask what he is and Seme states he is an incomplete being. Uke tells him not to say that because it makes him sad. lol. Uke gave him a name and kisses him upon the forehead because his forehead was handsome. lol. So Seme kisses him in the mouth and states his smile was pretty. They go out shopping and Seme’s was finally able to sleep after so many yrs (Uke told him to sleep next to him while holding hands). Seme returns back and does so, but Uke ends up telling him he won’t hate him that he will pray to meet him again. Seme leaves to the mountain and the nightmare is meeting and losing Uke over and over again. Seme meets Uke (5) again up in the mountains (we actually find out Uke was told by his parents to look for more pretty glass in the river while they left). Seme finds out that Uke has a miserable life. His adoptive parents abuse him by starving and beating him. He has no friends because of his bad luck. Seme cries because what he was told by the mountain god wasn’t true. Uke wasn’t living a simple life. Uke hugs him and tries to console him until Seme stops and he falls asleep. Seme vows to make Uke’s life right. Seme tells Uke the truth, that he was abandoned and feeds him fruits. Seme tries looking for the mountain god but can’t find him. At night he decides to go down to the ‘village’ to get Uke proper food and clothes and runs into a spirit that just died. Seme explain his situation. The spirit also had a 5 yr old son and freaks out because he knows he is leaving him but tells Seme to take his backpack with food. Seme took it and it had bedding, food, and kit to fix his wounds with. Seme decided to go to the city and try to blend in for the sake of Uke (he realized that so much time has passed. He cuts his hair and wears a suit). He goes to the library where he reads to gain knowledge. There he meets a pregnant librarian who tells him he can checkout book with an id (he ends up manipulating the system to get a gov. Issued one). She lets him barrow a children book of hers so he can read it to Uke (he told her he has a son too. lol). Seme eventually takes him to an orphanage (he absorbed all his misfortune so Seme wants him to live a happy life). Uke doesn’t want to leave his side stating he will be a good boy. He cries and gives Seme his gemstones he found in the river. Seme erases his memories. The librarian ended up losing her baby, so Seme suggested, she volunteered at the orphanage where he manipulated her a bit to see Uke (he wanted her to watch over Uke too).. Uke ended up getting adopted by a caring family. Seme watched over Uke taking away any harmful people that got in the way and surrounded him with positive people. (He also raised up money since he found out that was important). In college, Uke got asked out but he kept rejecting them all that made Seme happy but he scolded himself for thinking that. One night, Uke got drunk and his classmate to him to get air. He told Uke if he was gay and to not worry and tried to kiss him. Seme got upset but Uke shoved him away and told him he wasn’t. Seme thought Uke could be gay too but now he knows he doesn’t want anyone. lol. Seme wants him to be with someone. lol. Uke graduates and begins his working life. Seme notices that he never lets anyone in (is friendships were one sided). Seme is becoming more obsessed and longing for Uke so decides to confirm that he is not the one for Uke by fixing himself into the workforce and entering Uke’s company to meet him. A year later, they meet face to face. Uke sneaks glances and one time blushes when Seme stopped a box from hitting him. He wakes one in a sweat in front of Uke’s home and Uke is puzzled to see him. Seme states he had a nightmare. Uke reassure him that he is safe and Seme thinking he needs to disappear but can’t bring himself to break up with Uke so he decides he needs to die. Before leaving he kisses Uke goodbye and tells him he loves him so much. Uke blushes and states to himself he will tell him I love you back when he sees him again. The next day he doesn’t go to work and Uke tries calling to no avail. The next day, he gets a call from coworker stating Seme’s family called stating he is dead and they will have a private funeral. Uke is torn on the inside but doesn’t show it until he can’t take it and begins to cry. Seme sees that he has caused him agony and appears right in front of him to attempt to erase his love for him but ends up turning into a snake (the beginning of chapter 1). Back at present day. Tattoo guy has been there in the room chilling with Blondie and ask if they would feel embarrassed for everyone to know what they have been through, like he knows they bang all the time, that he wouldn’t have guess by looking at Uke. Seme wakes up with his memories back, cradles Uke and glares at Blondie. Tattoo gets in front of Blondie in a protection stand stating that he will bite and dogs take down the little ones first. lol. Seme angrily states what he did to Uke and what are his intentions. Blondie states he was curious why Uke’s life was messed up, gets upset and tells him off stating he is the one to blame for everything. That he could have become a dragon but he couldn’t let go of his love and created a mess. Blondies eyes change to gold and black and Tattoo points it out thinking it’s cool to let him see them. lol. Blondie calms down and pokes Tattoo away. He tells Seme he will wake him up so he better prepare to get on his knees and beg for forgiveness. Blondie can’t wake him and Seme tells them to leave. Blondie ask Tattoo if he can take him somewhere (he postpones his clients and agrees because Blondie got sad if he couldn’t take him. lol.). Seme tells Uke to please wake up because he wants to tell him sorry, thank you, and I love you. Seme believes he is always making bad choices when he should have been just grateful for Uke being alive that he was greedy. Seme hears subconsciously Uke saying he doesn’t want to wake up. Seme says he understands (thinking because he found out his whole life, was shape by someone else). He baths Uke, dress him up and puts him in the couch. Blondie takes Tattoo to the mountain in search of the god there (he wants to know why Uke has some of his powers inside him). 2 days pass and Tattoo finds his hide out. Blondie goes in to check on mountain god. Blondie explains what happen. Mountain god states that he never gave power to Uke, he gave some to Seme because he wanted for things to be less overwhelming for him (he knew he didn’t finish his training). Mountain god tells Blondie he needed to have brought Seme and Uke in order for him to try to help. lol. But then he sense them coming up the mountain (Seme is carrying Uke). In his mind, Uke understands that the one he loves was robbed of becoming a dragon because of him and suffered undeserved punishment so he can be reincarnated. He endured loneliness and pain for hundreds of years until he woke him up in is second life only for Seme to have more pain knowing Uke was suffering from abuse. And then Seme tried to fix his life like it was Seme’s fault. Uke believes he is a curse that shouldn’t have been born. Mountain god appears before him and Uke recognize him. He explains that Blondie showed him too much and that is why his mind is overwhelmed. That he is good natured and he knows he didn’t came back to hurt his lover and that even though they should have never meet again they did and should ask the person who wished it why (Past Uke wished it). Before Uke and Mountain God could meet past self, Uke wakes up, with Seme making breakfast saying they are married and happily living together (Seme actually made a pool of energy where him and Uke are in a dream like state). Uke figures out that it’s not reality and tells Seme to explain. They talk and Seme explain it was the best solution for nobody else to get hurt because of their misfortune and they could live in a fantasy world. Uke states they haven’t tried finding a solution together and explains that not everything was a misfortune, there was always someone else there to help. Seme states if he resents him for making foolish choices but Uke tells him how could he and They need to go back to the real world together. They wake up in the water and Uke tells him they finally meet again and he missed him so much. Mountain god, Tattoo, and Blondie find them and Mountain god states that left the gate within him open to one day find the answer and as long as he lives close to Tattoo he will live a long life but if they need more help to find him again but to bring tattoo. Tattoo ask if he is a talisman and Blondie tells him sort off. They go back home (Tattoo ask Blondie why he is quiet but no response). In bed, Uke ask how he is feeling and if he is afraid. Seme states he feels better but he is afraid. That maybe he should leave. Uke remember about his work and calls the new manager that he will go to work tomorrow. Seme gets jealous but states that he did thought that Uke would be better off with him. Uke states he likes Seme not anyone else and it’s because of him he feels brave and unafraid. Blondie is outside ready to apologize but Tattoo at of nowhere stops him stating is good that he wants to apologize but now it’s not the time because they will most likely be doing it. lol. Tattoo ends up dragging him to his place for snacks and Blondie turns into his beast form, a gold lizard. lol. Seme and Uke are having sex with there minds intact for the first time since Uke was reborn. They make passionate love. Uke ask to see his other form because he knows that’s the state when he gets fully aroused. Seme does and whips both dicks out. lol. At home, Seme is cooking dinner and while eating Uke mentions the incident and that the person looked like a younger version of Seme. Seme reveals himself as a younger self (he can make himself appear older or younger). Uke loves it and gives him a hug. Seme tells him he needs to be careful. Uke ends up bringing up new manger in a good light and Seme is getting annoyed and tells him he is an evil spirit. lol. The door rings and Uke answers to find Blondie with a teary face asking for help. lol. Apparently, Tattoo has been keeping him at his place trying to feed him insects because Blondie looks malnourished in his lizard form. He escape when Tattoo got close to him by biting his lip. lol, ( Tattoo went asking if Blondie was there but Uke denied it). Blondie tells Uke he shouldn’t be around new manager because he is an evil spirit that he should quite his job and let Seme take care of the money. lol. Seme agrees. Blondie tries taking some bad luck away from Uke but he can’t, he states that concerning. Blondie explains that they have a connection and only Seme can absorbed Uke’s misfortune. They connection gets blocked when one of them doesn’t remember the other. Seme adds that it also has to do with trust and love. When they love trust and know each other, that’s when bad things begin to happen again. Uke tells him not to think about trapping him in a fantasy or erasing his memory that they will work it out together. The next day, Uke is feeding Blondie fruit and telling him to tell Neighbor that that’s what he likes and that he will swing on to get him more fruit on his way home from work. lol. Seme isn’t too happy but Blondie tells him not to worry that he will stick by Uke’s side by hiding in his briefcase. Lol. On his way home, it’s raining and he stops by a stall to by fruit. Seme calls and Uke states he is 5 min away that he might not be able to find him with the umbrella when all of a sudden a car tries to hit him but luckily Blondie push him out of the way. The car smashing on a poll and Seme sees the whole thing. Uke is shocked but goes to Seme hugging him and telling him he is okay. Seme knows it’s not okay. At home, Blondie ask him not to go to work that he was really scared. Uke just smiles and goes to bed. Blondie thinks Uke is a workaholic. lol. Seme states he will drive him to work and stays up all night just watching him. Seme drops him off but doesn’t leave. He makes a call. Seme drives Uke to Seme’s apartment and Uke is suspicious so he ask if he is locking him up. Seme says yes. In bed, Uke states that bad things can happen any time like the apartment catching fire or an earthquake. Seme states he knows he is acting foolish but he will do it anyways because is worse nightmare was seeing Uke with fear in his eyes. Uke admits that he was scared and wanted to cry but didn’t because he knew Seme was afraid too and he realized the pain he would cause his love ones if he got hurt. Uke admits he went to work to put in a leave of absence and that they should do something else other then sleep since he won’t have work. lol. Seme ties Uke hands and blindfold him. They have sex all night. Uke passes out twice and wakes up still having sex. Uke sees his past self in one of the dreams and tells Seme they need to go to see the mountain god. They rest and the go see him. On the way up, fog comes around and all of a sudden Seme and Uke gets separated. Uke is found by the ghost that helped Seme out in the past (by giving him food for Uke), he recognizes Uke and tries to help. Uke get sleepy but ghost tells him not to fall asleep. Ghosts finds Seme by following a scared presence. lol. And tells him Uke is in the water and is not safe he needs to go get him. Uke wake up inside his head where his past self is. Pass Uke tells him that when Seme fell in love his second shard manifested in Uke. Seme was suppose to take it in order to leave his regrets on earth and become a dragon but couldn’t because he didn’t want to harm Uke. As punishment, Uke got cursed with misfortune and no afterlife. In order to stop that he took it apron himself and fell into deep sleep. Seme took the bad energy but not the shard. Pass Uke tells him that he actually suffered all the punishment already and he isn’t being punished for reconnecting with Uke again. Pass Uke admits that he prayed to anyone to reunite him with Seme, to reconnect and live in love and happiness. Before death the shard inside him granted his wish. It was the price of his wish to have an afterlife of misery and despair. Uke ask why didn’t Seme take the shard since he was dying anyways and Pass Uke states he intended to use that shard power to mend Uke’s afterlife. Pass Uke states that Seme thinks he is being punished because of him but it’s actually Uke’s karma for the greedy wish. Uke ask why the mountain god or Seme recognized the shard with in him again and Pass Uke explain that it probably became corrupted and used more power then it had and shattered became a different form and merged with the reincarnated version. When he got reunited with Seme as a child Seme assumed Tharp the shard fulfill his role and vanished. Pass Uke states that Seme needs to suppress the misfortune with greater power. With only have a shard and hundreds of years of punishment his strength is unstable. Uke states his goal is to give him back the shard but he can’t take it out because he will die, but Pass Uke tells him that he did make a wish that came true that he wanted to meet him and fine happiness with him so there must be a way. Seme finds Uke and they go to see new manager because he remembers when he ask if his boyfriend has 2 balls. lol. They talk and he comes to a conclusion that Seme might need to eat Uke whole, absorb the shard and then regurgitate him out (new manager did it once and it worked for a human with bad energy but he was crippled). He tells Seme that it’s crucial for him to control his power. That night Uke states that he imagined the position Seme was in and he would feel terrible if he dies and Seme is left with all that guilt and pain because of him. He ask Seme if the place they were trapped in a dream was real. Seme says yes and Uke want to go. It’s over seas and Seme and Uke tell Blondie and Neighbor about the situation and they need Neighbor to go with them. lol. They are both upset but then Seme gives him a briefcase with money and he agrees. lol. While on the plane Blondie states they should be be happy eating but Neighbor tells him it was probably a figure of speech that Thry wanted to get it on someplace else. lol. Like it’s there honeymoon. lol. On the cabin, Uke and Seme have passionate sex and in the morning they go see the river and Seme ask if he can share the same fate if something goes wrong. Uke gets eaten. Inside he sees Seme like his pass, missing a piece of himself. Uke cries knowing he’s been trying to find his missing piece. Uke hugs him and states that it’s time for him to take the half of him that was born within him. Uke felt content knowing he had a part of him that he will cherish deeply.
