Yoru to Futari
this was okay :> i think the plot was very light and didn't have much depth esp when it come to mitsuru and naoji's past but i did enjoy reading it ^^ though the age gap is a bit weird since he knew mitsuru since he was a child but they didn't grow up together and mitsuru was the one who kept pushing it with naoji so ig it was fine though i think it is a bit bittersweet since we'll never know if naoji manages to turn mitsuru into a vampire or if he'll die of natural causes in the future but at least we got a cute ending :'> overall it was not my cup of tea esp of how they got together but the art saved it and of course, vampires (i'm obsessed sorry) i think they were also kind of cute esp towards the end but yea there wasn't much plot and more of just mitsuru forcing naoji to have sex with him lol kshjshsjdh though the end had a bit more emotion the art style is amazing !! this was an okay read ^^
17 Sai no Hisoka na Yokujou
this was kind of cute but a bit disturbing as well :'> it's a guilty pleasure of mine since i did quite enjoy reading it but the thing is i was just a bit bothered by their relationship since takamura is his teacher, it's odd for me to say this bc i've read at least 50 mangas with this type of trope but this one was a bit too much jahahshshd they kept having sex in every single chapter and i also didn't feel quite comfortable since takamura kept on forcing rin to go to his house and tbh the cabin scene was definitely dubcon since rin was probably was feeling indebted to takamura that time esp when he just saved him from falling off the cliff as well as a bit hazy and traumatized from the experience :(( i was uncomfortable the whole time bc the teacher was the one who was courting his student but as i said it was a guilty pleasure bc its very rare to see this type of dynamic so i quite liked too, and they have a background as to why takamura's pursuing rin so ig its not that creepy at all.... overall it was okay, might be a little uncomfortable to some, but it wasn't the worst ^^ their conflict was quite petty and immature tbh esp with takamura being 7 years older and a grown ass man but ig it ended well for them :')) the piano thing could've been better if it was incorporated more, i actually added this to my read list bc i was expecting a bit of emotion esp with the piano involved in the story but ig they were still kind of cute :> shino is such a good friend, always being there and supporting rin ^^ also can we talk abt rin's father >< he's so gorgeous !!!! ㅠㅠ i hope takamura stops lying to rin's father though :< i wanted to see their relationship after rin graduated since that setting would probably be hard for them but ig the ending was okay too~ the art style is pretty though this was an okay read :))
Seikaku Kuzu De Nani Ga Warui
this was okay, they were cute but there wasn't much connection for me~ i do like their dynamic since i'm very into polar opposites ^^ but i think their feelings, esp hanaura's, is still not yet there :)) tsuzuki seems nice and his feelings were pretty genuine but i was caught off guard by the sudden hand action by the front door lol kshskhdksh there were some parts that felt off and fastly paced but i think they were pretty cute ^^ the plot was kind of plain, not much is special abt them but i still enjoyed reading it ^^ i didn't know it had 3 volumes so i'll check those out too and hopefully there'll be more character development between the two :> the art style was pretty !! this was a pretty okay read ^^
Tamayura (yuki Ringo)
this was so good !! it had that melancholic vibe and i was on edge the whole time bc i really thought this will have a sad ending bad omfg it was so beautiful :')) i love how this author always makes their plot poetic and deep <33 you'll really feel the emotions of the characters >< i'm so happy for the couple bc they really fought for their relationship ㅠㅠ they had a lot of ups and downs, and it took quite a while for them to be together :'> i love how we got to see a glimpse of their past and their future, as well as an alternate ending (kind of) wherein we saw how it ended with them growing old together while the other was bittersweet since tachibana died first :< but it was still a pretty wholesome ending bc atleast we got to see how they lived together for a very long time and the extras were so domestic and adorable >< i also love matsumoto, he's such a caring, mature, and understanding friend (´ω`) he never forced his feelings for asakura, and he even helped him the best that he can to find tachibana :'(( he even volunteered to be tachibana's editor-in-chief :'> i just love how mature everyone is in this manga <33 there wasn't any annoying third party whatsoever and it also focused on the characters' development as well as the growth and acceptance of asakura's feelings ^^ i love how he never gave up and did all that he can just to find tachibana ㅠㅠ he never lost hope and gave all his effort even after all those years :'DD ugh i love them so much (╥﹏╥) they deserve the happiness and freedom that they got >< overall this was yet another masterpiece from this author !! i'm so obsessed with their other works, it always has that melancholic vibe that will really pull you in the story ^^ their story always hits a spot in my heart and i always get emotional when i read them :')) i love this so much !! the art style is amazing as well !! this was an emotional yet amazing read !!
Sono Suki Honto
this was really good !!! i've never encountered this type of scenario or trope wherein they were previously together (as a punishment game) and then they got reunited ^^ its a really refreshing concept and i really love their dynamic as well >< i like the way the author told the story, they mixed in the couple's past and switched povs in between~ i like how the plot was light but it also had depth since there was an unresolved problem between the two :> i love the mutual pining and i love how supportive their friends are !! i'm glad that hase learned from his mistake and fought for their relationship :)) i really felt their emotions esp when nadaguchi cried PLEASE i was quite emotional too ㅠㅠ i love the whole confession and the line "this will be my last lie" ugh it just fits together so well <33 overall i really enjoyed this one ^^ it had the right amount of pain and fluff i felt the genuineness from both sides and the extras were so adorable and wholesome (╥﹏╥) there wasn't any annoying conflict and the pacing was just right :DD i wish we got to see more of them but tbh i was very satisfied with how it ended esp with the cute extras ^^ the art style is so pretty !! this was a great and wholesome read !!
Brother Complex Onii-san, Kocchi Muite
this was pretty good ^^ i would've given it 5 stars if mitsuhara wasn't as pushy as he was ㅠㅠ the feelings felt quite forced and haru looked like he was being manipulated :'> but they turned out to be an adorable couple :)) yuki and shinji looks adorable too ^^ i'm glad haru wasn't your typical brocon who would keep his brother to himself, he also doesn't have any prejudice and gave his full support to his brother <33 mitsuhara seems like a pretty nice guy, he was very supportive to yuki, he gives great advice, and he comforts haru well but the thing is that i just felt uncomfy at some parts esp when he forcibly kisses haru at his most vulnerable state :< overall it was good ^^ the plot wasn't the most unique but it is quite new and refreshing to see :DD i'm glad everything turned out well for them and mitsuhara's students accepted him for who he is <33 wish we got to see more yuki + shinji moments hehe they seemed like an adorable couple too >< the art style is pretty !! this was a good read !!
Hitori to Hitori no 3650nichi
this was so good :'> UGH i wish it was a stand alone book bc i would've loved to see more of the main couple esp with katsumi's and their relationship's growth but i was still pretty satisfied esp at the last panel where katsumi told maki that he loves him :(( i also love how there was a tiny extra where they were talking abt how katsumi won't cry anymore bc he has maki :')) i'm the one crying ㅠㅠ omfg i'm so obsessed with them !! the plot was quite unique bc its kind of a rare set-up but the author executed it well esp with the psychological part ^^ its also pretty evident that trauma is not something that will go away in a few days, we can see that katsumi is still not fully healed but he is getting there and i'm so proud + happy for him bc they both deserve to move on from the past and start all over again (´༎ຶ ͜ʖ ༎ຶ `)♡ the second couple was okay, nothing too special since its your typical childhood friends + country boy set-up/dynamic but they were cute so it was okay ^^ (i just skimmed through it though) anyway i'm totally inlove with this story !! <33 i'm so happy for the both of them and i'll probably reread this again bc it really stirred my emotions :'> the art style is very very pretty too !! it really accentuated the psychological genre this was a great read !! it deserves a higher rating + more recognition <3
Beast & Feast
i'm in the middle for this one~ i'm not into how they got together bc first that was straight up assault and i just felt like kazuha's feelings suddenly just blossomed out of nowhere ???? he said he never had any feelings for him 10 years ago so why is he suddenly in love with him after being assaulted ㅠㅠ anyway i think they turned out to be cute at the end idk :')) i really like the pair up but the relationship wasn't for me but it was okay ig ?? it had your common yakuza tropes like kidnapping and whatnot so yea thats about it :'DD the art style's pretty though this was not bad ig but i also didn't really enjoy it :'>
