The Omega Takes a Husband

Complete | Kuroi yodaka | 2019 released

this was so good ^^ i love their chaotic dynamic !! makoto is such a sweet guy :(( i love how he always thinks abt yoshiharu >< he really cares abt everything that's related to him and he would do everything for his happiness :'> i love how he also never took advantage of yoshiharu esp on his drugged state :)) he really loves him so much so even though its such a big temptation, he kept his focus and tried his best to control his instincts ㅠㅠ one of the best alphas out there esp a yakuza alpha HELLO !! you can really see how much they both love each other <33 i'm here for the mutual pining i love how at the end we got to know that they actually loved each other since they kids :'(( pls that's so adorable >< even though they're part of the yakuza and bicker all the time, they both have a soft spot for each other and they aren't afraid to exchange ilys (´ω`) overall this was a very fun and good read !! i'm glad the grandma didn't oppose to the two and let them get married >< i also love how supportive their gang members are !! they were rooting for them since day 1 :D i wish we got to see more esp after they got married and maybe even a snippet of kids, but i'm very satisfied since most mangas don't show those stuff so at least we got to see them getting married and some little cute extras :> the art style is pretty !! and this was a very fun and nice read !!

Torokeru kuchibiru

Complete | Takasaki Bosco | 2000 released

will keep it short bc its been a while since i've read this but i love this dynamic ^^ i'm quite obsessed with the actor/showbiz trope x normal person but with this one they were actually working in almost the same line of work since ryo works in the commercial making industry while riku is the actor itself :> i'm not a fan of how they started out but i saw how both their feelings developed and turned into a cute and genuine relationship so i liked it <33 the drama was quite annoying though bc of the manager who kept intruding in between their relationship which led to ryo's insecurity and all~ there was also that bar scene at the beginning which was so unnecessary ?? like why do they always need to include an sexual assault scenes at least it didn't actually happen, but it almost did :'> anyway overall i still liked how their relationship was, they were both cute and i think they had a pretty healthy relationship ^^ (though it had a lot of conflicts in between lol) the ending was also quite annoying with ryo leaving riku, but i'm glad he did that so that the both of them could mature and grow on their own~ i'm glad they got back together strong and happier than ever :DD i almost forgot to mention but i also liked the side couple ^^ i'm glad there wasn't much conflict with ryo's ex and he was also currently in a cute relationship >< the art style is immaculate !! obsessed :P this was a good read !!

Bukiyo Na Bokura No Sukima

Complete | MOFUMOFU Edako | 2000 released

this was pretty fun ^^ i liked the dynamic minus the stealing gfs thing, but other than that i think the mutual pining was adorable and i love ryuu's character development, despite the story being short :> nao is probably the only female third party that i've liked bc she was so mature and she was also a fun addition for the comedic purpose of ryuu annoying her i love how she supported them even after getting hurt >< hiro is a puppy top who's obsessed with ryuu ^^ while ryuu is a cold cat who turns soft from time to time~ i really love the extra bc they were so cute pls !! i love seeing ryuu's adorable side :')) overall this was pretty good ^^ i just felt like their relationship was a bit lacking but ig thats bc the story's quite short, i still enjoyed it though ^^ the art style is so pretty !! this was a good read !!

Suda-kun no Himitsu

Complete | Tamuko kuwata | 2019 released

this was kind of cute ^^ i love crossdressing and bl intertwined so i liked it :> but tbh there was too much crying and awkwardness that made me feel meh D: i think they were adorable after being official but there was still lots of crying and awkwardness involved so i was a bit :/ though the last panel where they were talking abt the simple things was so wholesome >< they looked so in love with each other~ overall i think both of them were cute ^^ am i mad at yuto for lying, uhm i wouldn't say that i'm mad since he didn't hurt aoi in any way and he even helped him gain courage and confidence in himself, but him taking advantage and making moves like kissing and touching suddenly was a bit too much for my liking :(( a peck would've been okay since he was caught up in the moment and all but for him to devour aoi i felt slightly uncomfy bc aoi was shocked by it and of course that was done without consent but aoi ended liking it so ig i'm not that mad abt it :'> anyway, i wish there was more like at least an extra bc i wanted to see more of their genuine emotion like the one in the last panel (´ω`) the conflict here was not for me lol hskshsd i don't like how the pedo guy just kept on coming back and wasn't even dealt with property :'DD he's just running around loose tbh i expected more from this since it had high rating but i mean the art style is pretty this was an okay read :>

Kono Yakuza, Toriko ni Shite Miseru~tsu!

Ongoing | Saaya sara | 2019 released

this was not for me jskshjshd tbh i actually liked this at first because the art style's gorgeous and i'm quite into the dynamic esp with it being the yazuka and all but the plot was just :'DD it had your typical kidnapping trope, fall for me trial, and all the yakuza stuff but the thing that irked me was when chikage threatened to kill himself just to force aizawa to confess or ig love him :'> i did have a feeling that aizawa already liked him since before but i don't get the both of them like i get his reason for pushing chikage away but like bruh :')) also not chikage guilt tripping aizawa D': if it turned out that aizawa didn't actually have feelings for him then that would've been more bad :/ overall i ws disappointed in this one sjhdjsjjd i actually had hopes bc it looked quite interesting from the first few chapters but then the kidnapping and threatening thing happened which just made me feel meh but i did like some parts like they were kind of cute when they got together ^^ also as i mentioned in the beginning, the art style is amazing !! i'm obsessed >< also chikage's dad seems nice since he's really protecting him from joining the underworld and is also trying to change their ways for the better :> despite the age gap, i think aizawa seems nice too ^^ he genuinely treasures chikage and he doesn't have that predator/pedo personality so i was comfy with their dynamic~ other than that everything was plain and a bit annoying (esp the conflicts) :< it's not horrible but just not worth my time :'>

A Shoulder to Cry On

Complete | Dongmul | 2000 released

tbh i expected a lot from this bc it did have kind of a high star rating plus it is going to have a bl korean adaptation which is why i decided to read it in the first place, but i'm sorry but i was disappointed :')) at first it was kind of confusing since the dialogues were a mix of narration and inner monologues but after i got used to it i think the plot was all over the place too :'> i felt like there were too many plot holes and there were also issues that were opened but was never properly discussed :< i agree with the author that this seems like more of a coming of age type rather than bl because the plot focused more of the characters' inner problems and past rather than their relationship itself ^^ but the thing is, i really wanted to see some character development esp from taehyun bc he did say that he'll try to like dayeol so wait for him but then it just skips to them being together already and he's still quite the same :'DD the reviews say that their relationship is healthy blah blah but in reality they don't even have proper communication bc taehyun keeps hiding his feelings and he never even replied to dayeol's i like yous :')) i also want to mention how taehyun's trauma was just taken lightly ?? like he never got medical attention or diagnosis for his mental state when we can clearly see that something's probably wrong with him esp when he harmed himself with the pot. idk if this story had the "psychological" tag but i'm putting it in bc it had that vibe the whole time and i think even up until the ending, taehyun was still quite suffering even though he slowly started to open up to his family :< i have a lot more to say but yea i'm not sure if i'm gonna watch the live action bc i was confused here and tbh it was kind of boring esp now that i know how open the ending is, i won't have anything to look forward to in the series :'(( but the author did mention they were still not good at showing the "love" part in the bl genre so i don't blame them~ and i think this was also their first time if i'm not mistaken ^^ this was just a critique for the work itself but i'm not judging the author whatsoever :)) the art style's pretty nice this was a so so read ^^

Haunted by Desire

Complete | penguin | 2000 released

omfg idek what to say PLEASE I CAN'T MOVE ON FROM THIS ㅠㅠ it was so freaking good :')) my emotions went on a rollercoaster ride bc of how intense this was it had everything from supernatural to wholesome to more drama and angst :'DD but don't worry it ends really well !! might be one of my favorite endings (╥﹏╥) i just want to scream and rant about dohui PLEASEEEE this man needs to get more appreciation !!!! i must admit it was very red flag of him to make that deal with the ghosts but i mean the man was in love and we all know what love does to you :'> but the important thing is he atoned for his sins by protecting seongjae from all harm, staying with him until his last breath, waiting for him to get reincarnated for more than 2000 years LET ME REPEAT THAT 2000 YEARS (´༎ຶ ͜ʖ ༎ຶ `), after that he waited for another 20 years and finally he got to hold seongjae in his arms :')) like i can't stop thinking abt how hard that must've been, to see the love of your life die and to wait for him for hundreds of centuries until he gets reincarnated + he didn't remember their old memories :'< i think that was enough punishment for what he had done in the past and i really commend him for that >< he's up there in my green flag list, literally raised my standards for everyone :'> i have a lot more to say esp with how he treats seongjae, the little things he does for him ㅠㅠ he always pays attention to the smallest details and he always prioritizes him above everything, even his own life i can write a whole ass essay abt dohui but imma just keep it in my heart :DD i admire their relationship, the mutual pining in the beginning was a bit frustrating bc of course i just wanted them to confess to each other but it had the right pacing so i had no problems with that ^^ they had great communication and there wasn't any misunderstanding, drama whatsoever between their relationship which is why i'm just obsessed with what they have >< seongjae is a ball of sunshine, very precious and i just love him :(( they both care for each other and you can really feel how much they love and treasure each other ㅠㅠ tbh i have a lot more to rant abt their relationship but i still have more to talk about so i'll be moving on to the next couple hehe~ so for sooyeon and beom, tbh their relationship from the historical era was not that appealing for me bc i'm not into that kind of dynamic esp with its incestuous side to it, but i still did get attached to them esp when sooyeon was already a ghost and all :> their modern relationship was still a bit disturbing bc they did have an age gap and they were yet again siblings but the difference is that beom was adopted so they were not really related and he also went to the states to study so they didn't grow up together but idk something abt step siblings and age gaps makes it kind of disturbing for me esp when they're both present in one relationship but i still liked their story so it was fine :)) lastly, the king and joohwan, tbh i wanted them to end up together but i think the king deserved that treatment bc he took joohwan for granted :(( i think that's the punishment that he'll be going through for the rest of his ghost life lol but i mean maybe modern joohwan would end up getting feelings for him at some point we'll never know~ but i do like their dynamic, they have a fun and chaotic dynamic i love it overall this was such an amazing read !! literally in love with everyone and their stories <33 i absolutely love the ending for all couples esp with our main couple of course >< dohui deserved that so much esp with how much he had gone through ㅠㅠ i'm so happy that he won't experience seeing seongjae die before his eyes knowing he can't go with him afterwarda :')) i'm legit just so happy for them bc they can finally rest and live happily without any ghosts bothering them (´ω`) i also love the new king of the underworld >< he's very classy and kind ^^ i also love how sang-il was a part of the gang and how he also got reincarnated as seongjae's best friend (╥﹏╥) ugh idk what more to say, this was a masterpiece !! <33 definitely worth to binge ^0^ the art style is immaculate !! every single one of them are gorgeous i'm obsessed and in love with all of them this was such a worth it read !! i also recommended this to my friends and even ranted abt it on twitter bc they deserve the recognition ❣️

Tamayura (yuki Ringo)

Complete | yuki ringo | 2013 released

this was so good !! it had that melancholic vibe and i was on edge the whole time bc i really thought this will have a sad ending bad omfg it was so beautiful :')) i love how this author always makes their plot poetic and deep <33 you'll really feel the emotions of the characters >< i'm so happy for the couple bc they really fought for their relationship ㅠㅠ they had a lot of ups and downs, and it took quite a while for them to be together :'> i love how we got to see a glimpse of their past and their future, as well as an alternate ending (kind of) wherein we saw how it ended with them growing old together while the other was bittersweet since tachibana died first :< but it was still a pretty wholesome ending bc atleast we got to see how they lived together for a very long time and the extras were so domestic and adorable >< i also love matsumoto, he's such a caring, mature, and understanding friend (´ω`) he never forced his feelings for asakura, and he even helped him the best that he can to find tachibana :'(( he even volunteered to be tachibana's editor-in-chief :'> i just love how mature everyone is in this manga <33 there wasn't any annoying third party whatsoever and it also focused on the characters' development as well as the growth and acceptance of asakura's feelings ^^ i love how he never gave up and did all that he can just to find tachibana ㅠㅠ he never lost hope and gave all his effort even after all those years :'DD ugh i love them so much (╥﹏╥) they deserve the happiness and freedom that they got >< overall this was yet another masterpiece from this author !! i'm so obsessed with their other works, it always has that melancholic vibe that will really pull you in the story ^^ their story always hits a spot in my heart and i always get emotional when i read them :')) i love this so much !! the art style is amazing as well !! this was an emotional yet amazing read !!

Sono Suki Honto

Complete | TAKI Nekoze | 2019 released

this was really good !!! i've never encountered this type of scenario or trope wherein they were previously together (as a punishment game) and then they got reunited ^^ its a really refreshing concept and i really love their dynamic as well >< i like the way the author told the story, they mixed in the couple's past and switched povs in between~ i like how the plot was light but it also had depth since there was an unresolved problem between the two :> i love the mutual pining and i love how supportive their friends are !! i'm glad that hase learned from his mistake and fought for their relationship :)) i really felt their emotions esp when nadaguchi cried PLEASE i was quite emotional too ㅠㅠ i love the whole confession and the line "this will be my last lie" ugh it just fits together so well <33 overall i really enjoyed this one ^^ it had the right amount of pain and fluff i felt the genuineness from both sides and the extras were so adorable and wholesome (╥﹏╥) there wasn't any annoying conflict and the pacing was just right :DD i wish we got to see more of them but tbh i was very satisfied with how it ended esp with the cute extras ^^ the art style is so pretty !! this was a great and wholesome read !!

Oyasuminasai No Ato Wa

Complete | kabano sakadachi | 2015 released

this wasn't that bad !! i expected it to be bad since the rating was quite low but i actually quite enjoyed that ^^ i think the plot should've been more polished bc i think it had a good story, it should've just been executed well bc i saw a lot of comments saying they were confused in the middle but tbh i wasn't confused though there were parts that were a bit blurry :)) like with kotaro's past, i think it needed a bit more explaning esp when it was just swept under the rug like his past traumas and with the sensei~ i think the only problem with this one was its flow and how the conflicts were kind of taken lightly, but other than that i think it was a pretty good read !! the art style didn't bother me at all, i actually liked it i think it was cute <33 overall this was good and like how they got to talk abt their past traumas esp suguru's trauma bc that was the source of their break up ^^ i'm glad that they got together and they even had a second baby ㅠㅠ i wish we got to see the baby but the extras and ending were all very wholesome and baby otsujiro was pretty cute too !! <33 it was a good read !!
