Complete | Lee-oh, wnb hair | 2000 released

At the End of the Road

Complete | Haribo | 2016 released

ok so i've been putting off reading this bc the tags looked intimidating it had dark, tragedy, bullying, etc. and i cant really handle that much drama so i avoided this, but honestly it wasnt THAT bad like it had some parts that you'll really feel heartbroken and pained but it ended on a happy note so :D when i read it at first, it really piqued my interest bc i havent really read much abt body swapping stories and the plot is really interesting !! though after the whole story, i was left with a lot of questions and it just left me unsatisfied ?? idk how to explain it but like i wanted taemin to get back to his old body bc it didnt feel right but i mean ig both him and woojin are living lives that arent theirs which is also pretty interesting but anyway abt the real siwon i felt so bad for him like he just suddenly died and no one really cared abt him :( he was such a good brother :< and the fact that his brother and joohoon never regretted a thing just gets on my nerves (๑•̀д•́๑) like jiwook was actually like proud (?) when he told siwon (taemin) abt why real siwon committed suicide ?? hes so sick and twisted omfg :/ overall the plot was pretty interesting and unique !! i liked it but there were some parts that felt incomplete and i didnt like how woojin kept on kissing and touching him without consent :0 and also the fact that they knew who siwon was but they never really cared abt the fact that siwon committed suicide just bothers me :( also im a bit confused if taemin and woojin are keeping their identities hidden from their friends or not ?? bc they kept calling each other by their real names so i was confused bc we never saw them telling their friends abt their past etc. and they even called each other by name at the scene where jiwook confessed abt what he did :0 there were lots of unanswered questions thats why i wasnt satisfied but i mean this was the author's first work and for a first time its really good !! the plot was very unique and it made me feel a rollercoaster of emotions ~ i also love the art style ngl i didnt really understand the cd scenario like im still confused abt that part so i'll prolly reread hehe ^^ i mean i enjoyed it but i wish there was more closure and stuff but anyway this was a good read

December Rain

Complete | Kimon | 2017 released

this is so good !!! literally bawled my eyes out, esp listening to the songs while reading omfg this shit hurt ㅠㅠ if im being honest there wasnt any complicated twists in the plot but i loved it ngl i was taken aback at what suchae did at the beginning bc that was dubcon and idk what he was thinking but ig thats how they relationship started the pacing's fast but it felt natural to me, i felt their love for each other since they only have the both of them <3 the story had some plot holes like we didnt get the full picture of what happened with the murder (1988 dismemberment), we didnt get a clear look at suchae's family situation, we didnt get to see what happened to k and if there was other ppl involved in the murder, etc. but i still felt satisfied with the ending !! im really glad the author gave us a happy ending ㅠㅠ im glad that they found each other once again and are living a happy life together :( i think the part that hurt the most was with the grandma idk why but it hurt a lot ╥﹏╥ i love how the author portrayed the fucked up justice system, it was very accurate !! the funny thing is that i support the good cop but at the same time i didnt want gusam to be caught so i had mixed feelings the plot was very realistic, other author's would've made a way so that the MC and ML wouldn't get caught or write some reasons as to why they didnt commit the murder, but here we saw that they clearly did a crime which they cannot escape so i think the ending was very fitting if they really wanted to be together :( i mean technically it was self defense but of course the police wont eat that shit so ( ̄へ ̄) overall i love this story, it made me feel a ton of stuff ~ it kept me hooked while reading and i really felt the couple's connection !! the desperation and emotion in every chapter is amazing we didnt get to see much of gusam's personality since he was too traumatized and disheveled but i think hes a caring and sweet person esp when we got to see them at the end :D he seems like a very reliable guy !! as for suchae, hes a sweetheart ^^ i love him <3 he has a very bright and optimistic personality hes very thoughtful and kind, hes precious ❣ i love their dynamic, i wish we got to see more of their relationship in the modern times but im happy with what we got i was actually avoiding reading this bc i dont read that much angst, my heart cant take stuff like this but this is a masterpiece !! a must read :) this shows you what a desperately inlove person would do for their partner :> i love the grandma, shes an absolute angel i hope that they could also see her in the modern times :( really loved this read :D it was hell of a ride it leaves you with the question of what actually happened on September 17, 1988 ?? im glad i got to read this amazing story the art looks amazing too suchae and gusam in the modern world look stunning such a worth read !!

Stigmata - Seikon Sousa

Complete | TAKAHASHI Hidebu | 2014 released

➷ plot: ★★★★★ ➷ characters: ★★★★★ ➷ chemistry: ★★★★★ (non-romantic) ➷ pacing/development: ★★★★★ (non-romantic) ➷ art style: ★★★★★ ➷ overall: ★★★★★ ※ this was amazing !!! i read this even though it wasnt the bl version yet bc i really love true crime and mystery thriller themed plots this was so unique esp bc of asako's stigmata, i've never ready anything like that before which is why i was so amazed ❣️ each case was so intriguing and i love how nothing overlaps !! the characters are very lovable as well <33 i love kuroiwa's emotionless yet caring personality >< i'm excited to see how their love will develop in the sequel ^^ i also love their female colleague <3 shes so gorgeous and comedic in a way ^^ tbh i have a lot more to say, but i'm just speechless rn at how good this was the cases were simple yet sophisticated esp the execution of the scenes paired with the author's amazing art style we also got to see a bit of asako's past which tells me that we'll probably see more of it in the sequel :> i feel like there will be angst but i'm here for it overall i really enjoyed this one !! i was so hooked to the cases ^^ i'm immediately reading the sequel after leaving this review ヾ(^-^)ノ ♡ i dont have anything else to say bc this was just amazing i love everything about this <33 i'll probably find more similar works like this one :D this was such a worth it read <33

Stigmata - Aikon

Complete | TAKAHASHI Hidebu | 2019 released

➷ plot: ★★★★★ ➷ characters: ★★★★★ ➷ chemistry: ★★★★★ ➷ pacing/development: ★★★★★ ➷ art style: ★★★★★ ➷ overall: ★★★★★ ※ ok so i didnt expect the plot to stick to solving one case for the entirety of it, but its ok i still really liked it !! i just wished we could see more cases afterwards bc the first volume was so interesting hehe <33 i think we could already see some slight developments of the couple's feelings from the first book and their feelings grew more in here which is nice ^^ i just wished we could see more of them bc they only got together towards the end >< but nonetheless, i was still very satisfied bc the extras gave us some sweet and wholesome moments ♡ the pace and development was nice :D i could really see how they both cared for each other, esp kuroiwa, even though hes emotionless most of the time we can really see how much he cares for asako the author did a really great job at making everyone suspicious, i really thought that nishi was the one who killed mari but to our surprise there was a much deeper plot and it all made sense in the end which felt so satisfying the plot and art style are just amazing <3 i dont really have anything else to say ~ even though i already knew the plot twists and stuff, this is still a book that i would gladly reread bc i really enjoyed every single bit of it ^^ i wish there was more stories like this, not only is it thrilling but it's also sweet bc of the romance >< i wanted to see more of them as an established couple but the extras were able to satisfy me hehe so i'm fine overall i really really enjoyed this !!! would recommend this to true crime enthusiasts ~ another worth it read i loved it a lot

Red Theatre

Complete | OGAWA Chise | 2000 released

➷ plot: ★★★★★ ➷ characters: ★★★★☆ ➷ chemistry: ★★★★☆ ➷ pacing/development: ★★★★★ ➷ art style: ★★★★★ ➷ overall: ★★★★★ ※ this was painfully beautiful ㅠㅠ i didnt expect to rate this 5 stars lol ogawa chise miss maam you got me in deep the whole thing was quite hard except for the last part it was so toxic and i felt so much pity for iouri :< but it was still so beautiful ?? idk how to explain it but the metaphors and the plot itself were so deep that i enjoyed reading it :> this was so freaking twisted but it ended in quite a wholesome way ♡ i'm kind of confused abt emma though, did they adopt her ?? it seems like they did and i find that so precious :(( they look so happy now i'm crying ㅠㅠ iouri and adam deserved this ˚‧º·(˚ ˃̣̣̥⌓˂̣̣̥ )‧º·˚ carlos and mikhail's story whew~ i wish there was more abt them too !!! their past was so interesting and i love how carlos is still chasing him after 30 years pls the leader of all the marupoks out there king shit back to the main couple, in the scene where iouri was running hysterically and bit that stranger, i had a feeling there was something angsty in a way like he was abt to die or something, i didnt expect for adam to be stabbed though lol tbh at that moment i just wished iouri was the stabbed bc i just wanted him to be free and i just didnt think that they would have a happy ending but of course adam saves the day which shocked me, i thought that was the angsty part bc i expected him to die but ig ogawa chise was kind enough to give them a happy ending YEY thanks author-san <33 idk what else to say abt the plot bc it was so sick and twisted but it ended in such a good way which made me like it :D i'm glad they finally got the happiness they deserve <33 after going through all those things, esp iouri :< he deserves the world pls (ू˃̣̣̣̣̣̣︿˂̣̣̣̣̣̣ ू) i always say this but i wish i got to see more of them like i'm satisfied with the ending, they looked so happy together and now with emma it looked more wholesome too ❣️ but i was satisfied with how it ended~ also i love how they even sent a postcard to mikhail :< so cute ♡ overall this was fcked up but ig in a good way lol it was so dark and deep, it took me on a rollercoaster ride~ but i landed safely and i still enjoyed it bc of the wonderful and adorable ending adam and iouri absolutely love and are crazy for each other also the adam is using iouri part in the beginning got me shookt lol i didnt expect that at all i love those plot twists as expected of this author the art style is amazing as per usual i've already read multiple works from this author and they never disappoint ^^ though some of their works are indeed too dark and twisted for me lol but this one had me falling !!! this was a twisted yet beautiful read !!

Mania

Complete | Brothers Without a Tomorrow | 2000 released

➷ plot: ★★★★★ ➷ characters: ★★★★★ ➷ chemistry: ★★★★★ ➷ pacing/development: ★★★★★ ➷ art style: ★★★★★ ➷ overall: ★★★★★ ※ its been a while since i've read a completed manhwa in (technically) one sitting and i have my mouth wide open bc this was so freaking good !! i'm not really into this type of dynamic but omfg i feel in love with them >< the plot was unique since i've never encountered anything like this before !! it had the amount of drama and angst along with a bit of sweetness~ i really love yeonjin's inner monologues esp when hes describing the feelings he has for munhyeok ^^ its so deep and poetic i really felt it :> the pacing was really nice even though this only had 63 chapters which is pretty short esp with a plot like this that has a lot of drama involved, i really got to see their development and the story didn't feel unfinished ^^ there were some plot holes or maybe i should say unclear parts like what was the real reason jeong mu killed wu cha gang bc as far as i'm concerned it looks like he was also fucking yeonjin's dad and even says that hes much better than wu cha gang so idk why he would need to go to such lengths when he himself said those things and i could also see some hints of feelings involved between the two~ the next thing that was unclear to me was abt kang seohyuk, they never really gave us an elaborate explanation as to why he "betrayed" wu cha gang ?? (idk if i missed it or not) munhyeok hated him since the beginning and they wanted to k!ll him i think ?? but they suddenly just become friends towards the end ???? yea that bit was kind of confusing but maybe i'm the problem since i read this at midnight so my brain was probably not processing things well anyway so for their dynamic, it wasn't as toxic as i expected ^^ there wasn't any strings attached at the beginning and they had an agreement so ig it was okay ^^ they're not toxic in a way that one person is abusing another but its more of their set-up thats kind of toxic ?? iykyk lol overall i liked this A LOT !! like i never expected to have my emotions be played around ksjdskjdkd its so good ㅠㅠ the ending felt bittersweet in a way ^^ i'm glad that they didn't rush them into meeting again once munhyeok got out of prison bc it added more angst, and it also made me feel that they're really inlove with each other even after 8 years of being separated >< i have a lot more to say but i think this is getting too long but yea i'm happy with the timeskip, i'm glad we also got to see that the kids along with moran were doing well <3 i'm happy that both of them got the freedom and happiness they deserved ♡ i really love the ending panel, it had so much emotion and i just love them so much they deserve to be happy :(( i really want to say more but i'm ending this here just know that this is really a worth it read !! this is a masterpiece the art style is also very pretty and detailed ❣️ this was an amazing read !!

A Thousand Cranes

Complete | Jung Seokchan | 2000 released

i love this so much omg ☆ REREAD [210228]: omfg i love this so much ㅠㅠ i already said that on my previous review but wow i've read this so many times already but it never gets old it still hits me everytime >< the plot is not your typical mafia boss who's a red flag that r words the MC, dean is such a green flag and he also deals with trauma and guilt~ he never wanted to be a part of that industry and i think his backstory was really interesting as well as craig's backstory ^^ i love the concept of them finding salvation in each other :(( it's such a beautiful and heartwarming concept ㅠㅠ craig is a ray of sunshine (´ω`) he's such a sweet and understanding person :< you can really see how much he loves and cares for dean >< he really laid out his life just to protect him and even with all the dangers, he still chose to stay and be with him :'< i'm not crying, you are !! their development was probably a tiny bit fast in the beginning but bc of how the author wrote it, you can still feel how their feelings grew deeper and how connected and inlove they are with each other ♡ i love the sweet and funny inner monologues and dialogues they say to each other ^^ overall this was such an amazing read ㅠㅠ it's a masterpiece !! i will never get tired of reading this >< they're my comfort couple :(( all the characters were fun and likable esp nicolas ^^ he's such a funny guy he brings light to the plot :> i still have a lot to say but that's for yall to read hehe ( ´~`) this was such a worth reread <3 would definitely recommended !!
