Sumanai!! Masumi-kun
this was so so~ i think the plot really had potential if it was in a much slower pace bc everything just suddenly happened but i do think their relationship was pretty interesting and cute ^^ masumi seems like a very nice guy and you can really see how much he treasures and adores shiraishi so i'm very happy for them :> the thing i agree with the comments are was the thing regarding risaki, like she knows her father has abandonment issues esp when her mom left him and even masumi's dad who he got attached to suddenly passed away so for her to just do the same thing without any explanation just bc she was scared her dad was not gonna approve of their relationship is unnecessary :(( i really felt bad for shiraishi bc he had to go through that again :< but i'm glad risaki decided to go back and explained everything to her dad ^^ i also love how she got together with kyou's sister pls they're so cute >< i must admit i did feel quite weird abt their set up just bc he masumi had to call him father while having feelings for him lol at least he didn't call him father while masturbating lol anyway i think this wasn't so bad :)) i still enjoyed reading despite it being all over the place and with a fast pacing :> i wanted to feel more of their connection though bc it was too fast but i think they're pretty cute ^^ wish we got to see more domestic scenes after they got together but ig i'm glad it ended without any conflict involving kyou bc his extra monologue hinted that he also has feelings for shiraishi what's up with their daddy issues jk the art style looks pretty !! this was an okay read :>
Mizu No Haru
this was pretty good ^^ i didn't expect much bc it had low ratings but the plot was actually quite unique in some way~ i love the fact that the author also told the parents' story <33 both relationships are so pure and warm ^^ the vibe of the plot was calm all throughout like it just had this calm atmosphere idk but it was also quite fast (first couple), but i think its bc there were only 3 chapters for them so the development wasn't showed that much but i still enjoyed reading ^^ the plot for the parents is your typical editor x writer boss but it was unique since the writer was a widower so that came to play for a bit of angst but you can clearly see how much he loves motoi so >< overall this was pretty good and i think it deserves a higher rating bc it had a nice plot esp with the cute time skip for the first couple ^^ i love how sumi treasure's his parents' relationship and he wanted to protect them which is why he always kept it a secret bc he didn't want his classmates to say hurtful things to them :D i wish we got to see more of their domestic life but i'm pretty happy with their cute extras ^^ as well as sumi's dads' extra scenes >< the art style is pretty !! this was a good read !!
Boulange no Koibito
this is so good !! i wanna cry this is just filled with wholesome and adorable scenes >< i really love the first couple's relationship <33 it felt so natural and i love how they slowly were growing feelings and was actually mutually pining for each other~ i love how steady and mature they are ^^ also the bi representation of asao HELLO !! its not that often to see bi characters in bl so i feel represented i love how there aren't any misunderstandings and they really have good communication !! ^^ i love how supportive asao's colleagues and friends~ as well as fujikawa's mom and his editor >< i really love their inner monologues whenever they adore/admire their partner :'> and i'm obsessed abt the last panels where they exchanged lines abt asao being the work of his lifetime ㅠㅠ i literally felt butterflies bc that screams marriage and proposal ᕕ( ཀ ʖ̯ ཀ)ᕗ i just love how they always exchange words of affirmation and how invested they are in each other~ like how supportive fujikawa is with asao's baking career and how supportive asao is with fujikawa's writing career ^^ idk what else to say bc i just love this couple >< they are the standard !! the second short story is also pretty cute ^^ i love how they started out as friends and suddenly got closer to each other in a funny encounter i also love how they stopped before any dubcon happened and properly confessed and became lovers~ overall i really love this !! this deserves a higher rating bc of how fluffy and mature the relationships are >< both relationships were healthy and wholesome !! <33 the plot is your typical sleep deprived author and all but i think how their relationship developed and how healthy + wholesome they are, is what does it for me ^^ i love the extras and i love how open-minded fujikawa's mom is lol she's a queen ngl i kind of want a volume 2 for their out of the country travels >< but other than that i'm pretty satisfied with the ending <33 the art style is very pretty as well !! i've read a lot of this author's books and i must say a lot of them are bangers !! ❣️ this one is another masterpiece~ i had a fluffy and wholesome time reading this !!
Merry Checker
i wasn't expecting this to be cute but wow its actually a pretty good one ^^ i think the plot was quite unique since i've read abt bloggers who have irl meet ups and stuff but i think the whole drinking session was a common trope but what i love abt it is that there's no dubcon/noncon situation even though miya is already in love with him :)) i love his self-control i love how they started out as friends first then shio's feelings started to grow ^^ the pacing was okay, it was not too fast but i do think the happenings when they did it was a bit fast lol JSHSHHS but i still loved their dynamic <33 i think shio's inner monologues were also a nice touch ^^ overall i liked it, i think the plot as well as shio's personality were cute and unique and i also love their friends~ there wasn't any toxic people and i also love shio's coworker >< it was pretty comedic :> the art style is pretty as well !! this was a very nice read !!
Tamayura (yuki Ringo)
this was so good !! it had that melancholic vibe and i was on edge the whole time bc i really thought this will have a sad ending bad omfg it was so beautiful :')) i love how this author always makes their plot poetic and deep <33 you'll really feel the emotions of the characters >< i'm so happy for the couple bc they really fought for their relationship ㅠㅠ they had a lot of ups and downs, and it took quite a while for them to be together :'> i love how we got to see a glimpse of their past and their future, as well as an alternate ending (kind of) wherein we saw how it ended with them growing old together while the other was bittersweet since tachibana died first :< but it was still a pretty wholesome ending bc atleast we got to see how they lived together for a very long time and the extras were so domestic and adorable >< i also love matsumoto, he's such a caring, mature, and understanding friend (´ω`) he never forced his feelings for asakura, and he even helped him the best that he can to find tachibana :'(( he even volunteered to be tachibana's editor-in-chief :'> i just love how mature everyone is in this manga <33 there wasn't any annoying third party whatsoever and it also focused on the characters' development as well as the growth and acceptance of asakura's feelings ^^ i love how he never gave up and did all that he can just to find tachibana ㅠㅠ he never lost hope and gave all his effort even after all those years :'DD ugh i love them so much (╥﹏╥) they deserve the happiness and freedom that they got >< overall this was yet another masterpiece from this author !! i'm so obsessed with their other works, it always has that melancholic vibe that will really pull you in the story ^^ their story always hits a spot in my heart and i always get emotional when i read them :')) i love this so much !! the art style is amazing as well !! this was an emotional yet amazing read !!
Kuro X Koi
this was good ^^ i think the story itself wasn't that bad though i think the plot and the flow needs a bit more polishing but i think it was pretty good~ the story between ao and kurose ws quite unique but predictable :> i haven't read much stories abt twins so this was quite refreshing >< i also like how each couple had their own story and we got to see how they are interconnected with each other :DD midori and shirose's story was cute as well but i think i didn't feel much of their feelings since it was quite rushed~ their relationship was a bit too fast but i mean both couples are happy and they stayed together up until aki was already in high school which meant the relationship's going strong <33 i also liked how the author included aki and akane's story bc we also got to see how ao and midori were doing after the kids grew up >< their relationship was your typical mutual pining but still adorable :> overall this was pretty good and i enjoyed it~ all the couples had a cute relationship and there wasn't much conflict :)) i wish we got to see more domesticity esp more scenes of ao + kurose, and midori + shirose taking care of aki together hehe but i was pretty satisfied so it was a good read !! the art style's pretty too !!
Suki toka Arienai!
this was pretty cute and funny >< i really love their dynamic !! the whole story was pretty comedic and light ^^ i'm absolutely obsessed with enemies to lovers trope which is why i really liked this <33 the only thing that kind of irked me was how pushy takahiro was, he kept on making advances onto itsuki and he even touched him without consent :')) i was also kind of confused with the flow of takahiro's feelings bc he kept doubting himself and it kind of felt rushed, but other than that i still enjoyed reading it ^^ i had fun esp with their dynamic and how they didn't change even after being together >< i also love ai-chan pls she added more to the story ^^ there weren't any annoying characters too (the MCs are the annoying ones jk) overall i really had fun ^^ the plot was fresh and hilarious <33 the dynamic is one of my faves too >< the art style is pretty too !! this was a good read !!
