Tamayura (yuki Ringo)

Complete | yuki ringo | 2013 released

this was so good !! it had that melancholic vibe and i was on edge the whole time bc i really thought this will have a sad ending bad omfg it was so beautiful :')) i love how this author always makes their plot poetic and deep <33 you'll really feel the emotions of the characters >< i'm so happy for the couple bc they really fought for their relationship ㅠㅠ they had a lot of ups and downs, and it took quite a while for them to be together :'> i love how we got to see a glimpse of their past and their future, as well as an alternate ending (kind of) wherein we saw how it ended with them growing old together while the other was bittersweet since tachibana died first :< but it was still a pretty wholesome ending bc atleast we got to see how they lived together for a very long time and the extras were so domestic and adorable >< i also love matsumoto, he's such a caring, mature, and understanding friend (´ω`) he never forced his feelings for asakura, and he even helped him the best that he can to find tachibana :'(( he even volunteered to be tachibana's editor-in-chief :'> i just love how mature everyone is in this manga <33 there wasn't any annoying third party whatsoever and it also focused on the characters' development as well as the growth and acceptance of asakura's feelings ^^ i love how he never gave up and did all that he can just to find tachibana ㅠㅠ he never lost hope and gave all his effort even after all those years :'DD ugh i love them so much (╥﹏╥) they deserve the happiness and freedom that they got >< overall this was yet another masterpiece from this author !! i'm so obsessed with their other works, it always has that melancholic vibe that will really pull you in the story ^^ their story always hits a spot in my heart and i always get emotional when i read them :')) i love this so much !! the art style is amazing as well !! this was an emotional yet amazing read !!

Itooshiki Hibi

Complete | Sono.n | 2019 released

this was so beautiful :')) it reminded me of Life: Senjou no Bokura bc of how realistic it was ^^ it showed how life went for an lgbt+ couple who had a 10-year age gap~ of course they had a bit of problems at the beginning since their pairing was a tutor and a student but i love how there was no grooming involved and makoto did what a mature adult should do, but kazuhiko fought for their relationship and waited up until he graduated to prove himself that his love for makoto is real and that he'll willing to wait even if it takes 20 years for makoto to believe him :'> i just love how wholesome they were all throughout :'(( they were so domestic and adorable even though they were old already <33 they still had so much love for each other up until their last breath ㅠㅠ the story shows you how their life progressed and how their character developed as the years went by ^^ it also showed how much they value and treasure each other esp when kazuhiko got into an accident, ik how painful and anxiety-inducing that was :(( i'm glad it didn't leave any type of effects or harm on kazuhiko :)) overall i really love this (´ω`) i love how the plot was simple yet meaningful ♡ it shows that age gaps isn't something that should be stigmatized (of course unless if there was grooming, pedophilia, and other illegal and disgusting behaviors involved) i must admit that this age gap was a bit big and if you look at them, it was between a student and a working adult in his late 20s but the reason why i liked this and wasn't uncomfy at all is because if you looked at makoto, he never acted in a predacious way, he never made any moves or sexual approach towards kazuhiko~ he respected what kazuhiko's mom told him and he completely distanced himself from kazuhiko :> and even after they got reunited, he still never did anything and just continued to teach kazuhiko ^^ he waited and even refused kazuhiko at first but i'm glad that they ended up together bc look at how they made each other happy for the rest of their lives (╥﹏╥) i also really love the ending :')) it was bittersweet but i felt like it was so wholesome bc it just felt right <33 kazuhiko was happy and i just love the final panels esp with the letter, i teared up and got emotional bc of how heartwarming it was ㅠㅠ i just love them ugh they are the standard !!!! this was a masterpiece >< and the art style is gorgeous !! this was a great read !!

Blood (yura tamaki)

Complete | yura tamaki | 1997 released

its been a while since i've put down reviews but this was a masterpiece !! ik it was rocky, painful, and had annoying characters but i must stay the story was full of emotions and i just love how unique it is though it also reminded me of banana fish which is just pain :'DD kyle and sean's relationship seemed like sean used kyle as vinny's substitute ?? but i feel like he also had genuine feelings for him :')) i felt bad for kyle but not really lol bc he looked like he wasn't that much affected by sean and even straight up did it with another man after throwing a tantrum anyway the only character i love is sean though we must admit him doing it with kyle is a bit :/ idk though bc kyle just seems like a little kid but sean was kind and i felt bad esp how he was despised by the one he truly loves :(( i understand that vinny had trauma and whatnot but girl u don't need to kill and traumatize other people just bc of your trauma ???? bestie needs therapy :'> but i'm glad he accepted kyle towards the end and he even named his son after sean :)) i would also like to point out how mature and likeable sandy is ^^ she's one of those best girl characters bc she understood kyle and changed vinny ig ?? i mean i just want to give sandy some credit for not being a part of the annoying character clan :DD overall i think the plot was very interesting and quite unique ^^ i must admit it was a bit annoying and frustrating but it still deserves a higher rating !! there was also some character development so~ i think the selling point for me was the ending bc i'm glad that vinny changed for the better and i love how he still treasures sean even after knowing sean's true feelings for him :)) the art style is gorgeous !! love the classics this was a great read !!

Anoyo de Omae ni Suki dato Ieru

Complete | Tsukizuki Yoshi | 2019 released

this one was a pretty unique one ^^ i think the plot was quite confusing at first which is why i think this should be a reread type of story lol after understanding everything at the end, i think i need to reread the whole thing to make it make sense~ i'm happy kunimi's okay like omg i'm also glad that he was able to recover and he also ended up with gaku <33 i like how cute they are esp after 10 years of not seeing each other ^^ gaku really treasured kunimi since he waited for him all these years~ overall i think it was good :)) i'm liked how unique the concept of the plot is bc these type of tropes are not common esp in bl !! there wasn't much drama (i expected it to be more angsty since it involves suwerslides and all) since it focused on his past memories :> i also liked their relationship ig ?? i mean we didn't get to see a lot of it but they were cute esp towards the end :DD the art style is gorgeous though !! this was a good read !!

Wadatsumi no Yometori

Complete | Monzen yayohi | 2019 released

i liked it but it was also a bit meh~ i feel like the plot was a bit forced esp on kiyo's part bc being turned immortal without his consent would've been very painful but ig i'm glad that they fell inlove (?) at the end ^^ the story of their past and esp the part where they were explaining abt the immortality of mermaids, was quite of confusing but that might be just me since i read this while i was sick lol anyway i think it was pretty interesting and unique esp the trope, but i wish i felt more of their connection bc the whole thing just felt forced :< the art's great though !! still a pretty good read

Bokura wa Nando mo Koi o suru

Complete | SEINA Anji | 2017 released

this was so good~ it was full of emotion esp on issei's part bc idk how painful that must've been to keep relieving ban's death and he also kept dying since he needed to travel back in time :< i'm so happy bc they finally got their happy ending but it does leaves you a bittersweet feeling of "what if ban dies again?" but i'm just going to pretend that they'll live happily ever after the plot's pretty interesting and their dynamic is adorable !! i love how ban's the optimistic and positive type while issei's the more stern one but he's actually deeply in love with ban >< they are definitely soulmates !!!!! the art style is divine ㅠㅠ i'm obsessed with the art, its so gorgeous this was a great read !!
