Kyon has been looking for work and conveniently a Royal (beings that are alike to humans but with supernatural abilities and long lifespans) has been looking for a servant to work at their mansion. There he meets his master "Lucaon" which seems very cold and it's very rude to his servants. Either way Kyon ends up falling in love with Lucaon due to certain circumstances.
