It helps us to understand and have a glimpse of knowledge on what they (lgbtq members) are experiencing. It can make us realise that words can hurt a person whether you tell it as a joke or not. That each person whoever he is, or how positove he is in life, needs a support and love. The feeling of acceptance from both family is so satisfying.
