I hate the ending. I wish this story got darker. Instead he is left with his abuser. I wish he’d break the abusers heart my either leaving him all by himself without warning or killed himself in front of him. It would’ve been more interesting that way. Would’ve given you that sinking feeling. I was not satisfied as a reader.
