Cute?! I really love big Imari and her character. They make a really cute pair, I wish there was more. I thought mental health was going to be a bigger issue since people made it seem like it was was, not that that’s an issue though. Mental health was not the main subject, it was more about interpersonal relationships and the stigma. OMG BTW i loved that all the women were kinda like lesbians? Rika, i think was her name, omg i totally didn’t expect that but it made the story so much better and it was totally justified. Ngl this was what i feel that one yandare yuri one shot wanted to be. So much more could’ve been done with these characters though, really a shame but it was good!

tw: mentions of sh & suicide/al ideation um so I usually don’t leave comments, but reading this kinda struck home for me. The scene where she cut herself brought back a lot of memories and when she mentioned disinfecting the razor it reminded me of how much I hated doing it, and how in a way it really did seem contradictory. Then when she talks about feeling scared to jump, it made me realize that I never thought about how real and scary suicide actually is. Overall I like the message and it actually did make me feel warm bc after processing it, I think I get it now. Often we’re so caught up in our miserable lives that we block out everyone else. Sometimes we need to step back and acknowledge that there are people who care about us, people who do see us and call after us... even if it’s just one person. Otherwise we end up hurting the people around us. And if you ever feel this way please let someone you trust know, don’t invalidate yourself by not reaching out bc someone does care and will listen !!

i’m really looking forward to reading the sequel! i think i was too excited i began to skip some parts. In general, this was alright, it isn’t anything amazing or special in particular but I did like these characters, and it did fall just a little flat, but i appreciated the one lesbian girl that taught him to appreciate gays.

This felt slightly off and even weird to me because then keeping their relationship a secret from his sister and mom made it feel incest or something forbidden when they’re just friends. And sequel doesn’t really add much in terms of character development, just chi(?) being jealous and in the end—he doesn’t really even talk about it because kiego already knew and rejected the other guy? Yeah so not much but it was nice seeing them a little longer, wish there was more tension or ‘drama’ but for a slice of life it was decent.

Truly devasted it wasn’t actually a lesbian and a gay dude. Sweet story about fate and love though. I appreciate the different characters and their individual stories and how they are all linked together.
