On my personal opinion, I respect the alpha for how he's respecting the uke. The others comments are saying that it's selfish for the uke to wear the ring as it's making it seem as though he's not making an effort. I personally think that he was a huge part of his life. Imagine, they were highschool sweethearts and married until the guy passed away. Sometimes moving on doesn't mean forgetting of the past. Personally, selfish as I am (yes, I'm a red flag lol) but I would buy a necklace to put that ring on.
