OK I did not expect to like this this much. I usually don't read shoujo/ Josie manga/manha/manhuas since most of the plot and characters are too stereotypical. But I actually really liked this. There's drama but no too much. The revenge was well-calculated but not that evil (the antagonists put it on themselves really). I also love how the ml is. He's got the right balance of coolness and cute puppy-ish vibe. I never thought I'd tear up from this either. The reveal of the ml got me teary eyed (I haven't felt this emotional on a straight manhwa in a while).

Mixed feelings. Ngl the uke was also at fault. What comes around, goes around.

Bro...I read the translated novel and it still gets me everytime. It's just sad. I always bad a feeling that the killer was Van. It just seemed sus. The first thing that got to me was when he was "under the weather" and was first to arrive on the island. Before it was unveiled that the killer was indeed van I was confused when the detective was like oh does it stand for Maurice smth but no it was Van Dine. I was like hOld uP and searched a list of the characters and then got it. Bish. It's just so sad for all of them. Idk how Chiori would feel knowing this all happened because of her. Man. It's just sad. I was really rooting for Ellery too. I'm just heartbroken with everything. My emotional baggage and rant aside, this author's works are great. J haven't read Another's novel before but I did watch the anime. I'll probably read the manga then read the novel soon tho.

I'm on a rereading spree right now or smthh lmao and I really do love this sensei's works. Specially these two. The second couple, I can somewhat relate to Hayashida-san albeit more low-key. I was really mean to my ex. He really liked me (we were actually in the same group of friends). He transfered schools to another country and while waiting for his visa we started talking more online and stuff. Til he asked if he could court me. I didn't like him but my (technically our classmates) friends saw the messages they took it as a prank cause well he was the type to make stupid pranks andddd he was my best friend's ex That was a really lame rant. Edit* rereading. Wth did I just rant?
