Our mc couldn't take it anymore, quit writing, and fell into depression.

so like our mc was a convict and he was recently released. He had PTSD and he struggled to find jobs. When ppl at the job learnt of his criminal history, he got fired and ppl treated him like he's less than a human being.. granted his appearance didn't help, but it's kinda sad to see... he's not in a good place mentally AT ALL. But he himself said he didn't commit the crime. He was framed but ppl around him didn't believe him and that left a huge mental scar.. anyway, he met this priest while he was trying to hang himself. The priest persuaded him to live and to be together. I was like, this could either go depressing but slowly healing each other route or full blown psychopathic, manipulative fuck. And I'm glad it went the latter fucked up route lol.
