Candy Man
ok here's a brief summary -> " Kyuyeon has an alternate persona in an online game, he pretends to be a female player with a character named “Yorong” only to rip off items from other clueless users. One of “her” diehard fans named “Yeommin” showers Kyuyeon with gifts day and night. He’s happy but at the same time, Kyuyeon feels a bit pressured about Yeommin because he’s always asking “Yorong” for a date. To top it all off, Kyuyeon finds out that Yeommin is his handsome classmate called Kimin Yeom. How is he going to get out of trouble? " yeah, so our uke catfish ppl pretending to be a gal in games. That's when his troublesome love life with this yandere-ish seme begins Bro after rereading it again. It's light-hearted and comedic but there were so many red flags + immaturity ToT. I couldn't enjoy it like I did the first time. I mean if I just forget reality, it's not bad.. but my man kimin.. it's not your money or power to use. Like if one day they're gone, what are you gonna do??? I shouldn't compare him to Hanhoo but Hanhoo is just

Yakuza is sexy af. Like if bad why hot fr. Anyway, this is about our dumb mc. He's the carefree birdbrain type. He can't hold a job, gambles without thinking about the consequence, does whatever he wants. But it's tolerable because he's stupidly cute. I mean he's naive and dumb kinda cute. He has a friend from his school day. This friend spoils him, lets him do whatever mc wants, feeds mc, lets mc freeloads. This friend is also hot like daddy hot *drool*. Anyway, at the end of ch1 we learnt that this friend is a yakuza (a high level one at that).
The Promise
Uhhhhhh the concept was so interesting and the characters (especially our mc) are so interesting as well!!! It started out sooooo good. Then things went downhill when Jing Ye cooperated with his glasses friend to get the secret of our mc.... like it started to get rushed at that point.. idk why.... but it went downhill from there. Scenes that don't directly involve MC are just plain text explanation. Fight scenes were rushed. Characters development from then on were rushed. Everything is just frustrating compared to the first half... had they continued with the same pace, it would be a masterpiece. Anyway, An Nuo is so friggin cute and smart. He remains calm and rational even in crises.. (although they did him dirty at that entrapment scene...)..
