Shizuku Hanabira Ringo no Kaori
A really good story. Interesting with realism, I love these slice of life stories that take their time and really develop the plot and characters. It reminds me of Yamamoto's, Omairi Desu Yo one of my favorites. This is definately right up there too, I love that family especially the adorable shogi loving jiichan.
Ano Hi No Kimi Wo Dakishimeta Nara
Another great story from Yamamoto sensei, but quite a departure from her usual light comedies. A provoking collaboration that brings the reader along with Kento as he witnesses his best friends abusive relationships. Their complicated friendship prevent him from acting on his feelings until he is forced to step between them. This bittersweet journey of doubt, fear and love was a pleasure to read. Though sad at times they got their happy ending.
Rules
About a boy coming to terms with being gay and finding acceptance. Goes into those darker themes full of doubt and angst and beyond. It follows multiple characters in relationships and how they made a place for themselves.
Sorenari ni Shinken nandesu
A cute romcom about a single father that gets help from a gay customer that becomes more. Cute, slow paced romance.
Omairi Desu Yo
This was one of my first mangas and really got me hooked on BL. Yamamoto sensei knows how to create full of life characters and show such sweet interactions you can't help but giggle at the cuteness. This is a fun lighthearted slice of life about two couples, a long time one sided love being returned and their clumsy, sincere and horny journey. And a queen tsundere and his adoring wannabe lover. All the character have such fun personalities and sensei's unique stunning art style help you escape into their small village.
Soredemo, Yasashii Koi o Suru
A spinoff Doushitedemo Furetakunai fooling another couple. Sweet, I actually liked this more I think, I really like Deguchi he's got spunk.
Familiar
Okay, first I want to applaud the aniki, he doesn't stand for his stepbrothers shit when he finds out he's gay. I really love that. There was real talk about being gay and the unfortunate societal disapproval. He doesn't let the seme do what he wants mostly and stands his ground. There was an almost sense of equality that I liked.
Zattou Ni Asobu Sakana
I really liked this, can't wait for more. Also I love the art, Mei-kun was so damn pretty! And his fashion was on point, I wanna look like that.( *`ω´) Well, that ended well for them. I'm glad. There was some force and assault, sort of just moved past it.
