Never Understand
Fantastic story! It was one of the most real stories I've read in awhile. Everytime I thought "why don't you do this" or "it's because of this" and somehow it came up in the story, super satisfying and extremely relatable. I really identified with the characters especially Aerak. A must read for anyone looking for something cute and fufufu but also real and sad amd frustrating at times.
Escape Journey
It’s hard for me to move past that one horrible fight that had where he forced himself on Nao... I just hate violence. But I do think these two do very much love each other and it was nice to see their story in all its angsty glory. I really hope Taichi has learned to think with Nao when it is about Nao. Aigooo, will this boy ever learn. Overall I like it, i really wish sensei wouldn’t have pushed it that far...to me it could of still had the same result. Him stopping and being moved by his emotion...wasn’t enough regret. He’s really quite possessive and to overpower him out of anger and fear is just scary and horrible and oh so low.
Onigari No Mori De
Original story, interesting world and a plot that takes its time building relationships. A good read.
Rules
About a boy coming to terms with being gay and finding acceptance. Goes into those darker themes full of doubt and angst and beyond. It follows multiple characters in relationships and how they made a place for themselves.
Yatamomo
This was wrapped up nicely, tied up loose ends and the art was in top form again. I think it summed up the entire story well. And I'm glad Momo feels loved by Yata, and they have eachother. It all worked out in the end. It delves into some serious heavy topics mitigating the tragedy with comedy for both the reader and Momo. Although not total winner for me, I like it a lot, it made me think and feel a spectrum of emotions. !(◎_◎;)k ... Well.. That was definitely ero.. At first glance it seems light but the actual story of Momo is quite tragic. What he needs from Yata is not marathon sex but rather unconditional love and caring that Momo has never received. All he's known is that sex equals money/something he needs or wants, it is not an expression of love. Although we see Momo clearly changing because of Yata's mothering protection it's almost undone with his ferocious sexual appetite. I'm not sure how I feel about it, like Momo says it almost feels like rape at times. A real life look at trauma caused by prostitution, laughing everything aside so he won't break down. It's sobering when Momo takes something seriously but is quickly pushed aside by a gag as if to stop the reader from balling and keep a facade of comedy just like Momo. I love the art, its drawn well including the backgrounds, though it definately changes over volumes. It definately falls apart at times becoming sloppy. I love her paneling, they are interesting and display the action well. The dramatic scenes were done so well, but it can get busy especially in the second volume. Sensei seems to like sound effects. There was a couple of chapters that used textured screens and I am not a fan of that effect. It makes a scene busy and messy and unpleasant to look at. It seems like an unnecessary way to take up blank space thats just distracting. Luckily it seemed to be temporary. There were times though that she would use loads of panels and yet it worked, combining close ups with little dialogue emphasized the action while makeing it easy to read. Rating 3.9/5
Lonely To Organdy
That was good and sad. It was a bittersweet story indeed, but quite touching. I was definately tearing up in the end, at least he was able to move forward in the end and continue his passion for music. Definately a good read.
Renai-rubi no Tadashii Furikata
1-2) Renai-rabi no Tadashii Furikata These are my absolute favorite type of couple, airhead x commen sense, dorky, sexy, funny, heartfelt, so freaking adorable, sexy, and embarrassingly honest. I just love Hiro and Natsuo so so much, I can't even... ヾ(@⌒ー⌒@)ノ Although, I don't know what was so dark about high school, that was just clingy attention by a crush, for goodness sakes. He clearly was just afraid of "delinquents" more like slackers. \(^o^)/ This was one of my favorites, it's so fluffy with an unlikely revenge plot thrown in. I wish there was more of their story. Gosh darn it, I love theses two dorks! 3) Hodokeru Kaibutsu So, I think I've read all of the prequels and sequals to this story and this one is the least dark. It centers around Shuuna and Kans love. I really like how Ogeretsu handled this, that the past abuse was clearly stated and was a roadblock but he has changed and is not the same person. That being said his past clearly haunts him and is never forgotten, but he can move on and it's okay to be happy. As for the smexy scenes, (o_o) they are smoking hot and sexy af. Not for the weak of heart. Now I get why their story is continuing it definately has the most meat, but I really wish their was more of every other characters instead/too. I guess their too happy? Also, I love that this is all one universe, you get to see each character have their own story and the small links between them. That's really cool Imo. Ogeretsu crafted two interesting stories packed with emotion and character a must read for any yaoi fan. The art is fantastic and brings the characters to life with her sultry sex scenes and hillarious expressions, she knows what she's doing folks. Let's take a moment and give a round of applause to Must Be Endless Scantation, because this was a masterpiece. Bless you for what you do and this translation was outstanding. (=´∀`)人(´∀`=)
