Is - Otoko Demo Onna Demo Nai Sei
My hear stopped, tears ran down my cheeks and I smiled filled with support for these characters. This is truely an emotional story about accepting yourself and helping others to understand. Mostly about Haru and his family and friends it tells the story of an intersexual from birth to adulthood and all the trials and joys of this cast of characters. Heartbreaking at times and sometimes inconsistent you begin to root for these characters like they are a friend sending support. I got to say I'm still concerned for Haru's health without hormones I want him to live a long and happy life. Why can't he get male hormones instead? Also I feel like medicine has progressed a lot and there are alternate ways for them to be intimate. Also this manga is bringing to life it's message of bringing awareness of IS. And although it might sound odd, Haru reminds me of Naruto. They both have this keen ability to bring people together and make them want to be their best. Spreading happiness and strength into all the lives they touch. Thank god that wasn't the end because I was feeling really unresolved. At least it better not. I hope sensei can resolve Haru's relationship with Ibuki regardless of the outcome. I just want haru to be happy and feel loved. God damn it I'm finishing it 4 years later but this is a freaking awesome manga. One of my favorites. The story, the emotions are told so well. I was dripping tears as i finished up the final chapter. I truly loved it and hope everyone reads it. Its okay for us to exist.
