Aisaretagari No Gemini
More plot than I expected. The uke was very cute, so I wish it was a bit more smutty, tbh. Also, didn’t real feel complete. Needs a couple more chapters, at least.
Love So Pure
DNF. Last read chapter 37. Did he really just get a neck tattoo when he’s in school for early childhood education???? Like, is that a real permanent tattoo???? And he did it to look cool for some dick??? That’s insane! Can he even get a real job in Korea with a visible tattoo, especially one on his neck? Don’t they relate tattoos to gangs and the mafia?? I hope they address this because it’s stressing me out. Daeshik’s little rant was dumb. The issue was never that he was ignorant on LGBTQ issues. It was his homophobic comment about being uncomfortable around gay people. He can be the most informed person in the world, but if being in the presence of someone who identifies as a member of the LGBTQ community makes you “uncomfortable,” you’re a bigot. Yeah, I don’t like Daeshik. I find him ridiculous. I don’t get the praise. Maybe I’ll get it as the story progresses. Idk. As of now, he’s just an annoyance. This child abuse storyline is so poorly done. He was “born a slut.” You mean to tell me that he still hasn’t realized that his abuser was lying to him? Does he even realize that he was abused? If he researched his illness, he’d know that hypersexuality in men is often caused by SA, so why isn’t he connecting the two? Is the author going to give this man a therapist because he needs one bad. So, the author’s plan is to just have him constantly have sex to sate his desires, instead of actually having him go to therapy? That isn’t even sustainable. Plus, it’s unhealthy for his body. Even with proper prep and lubrication, that’s too much. He’s gonna damage his ass. So, now that little glasses fucker is vice president of the school’s LGBT club. Ugh, I really don’t like him. It’s like it’s all performative. He got mad and embarrassed about being called out for being a homophobe, so now he’s like a fucking super ally. Ew.
