10/10 i couldnt give this series higher praise - it is truly a masterpiece and holds the throne for my all-time favourite manga. a must-read not just artists & creatives but for anybody with dreams and aspirations, Blue Period is passionate, inspirational, and impactful enough to make me regularly break down in tears while reading; it’s not that the content itself is particularly sad, but the phenomenal writing and captivating imagery makes even the trivial struggles of day-to-day life so much more relatable and moving. cw: contains some heavy topics such as mental health, eating disorders, gender identity & sexuality etc.
